Ini Dima-Okojie & Nkem Owoh share a Father-Daughter Moment in ‘Kpali’ The Movie

Nollywood sweetheart, Ini Dima-Okojie and thespian, Nkem ‘Osuofia’ Owoh serve us an irresistible moment to look forward to in the official trailer for Vzhun Films’ debut movie, Kpali due for release from December 20th. 

The banter between Ini (Amaka) and her father, Owoh (Mr. Kalayor) is a joy to watch giving the audience an exciting tease.

Kpali which is being distributed by Genesis Pictures also features Linda Ejiofor, Kunle Remi and veteran actress, Gloria Anozie-Young among others. 

The story unfolds around Amaka, a Nigerian professional who works in an investment bank in London. Life throws her a curveball as her UK employer suddenly has to trim its workforce and she may lose her job. It gets complicated as her Work Visa is about to expire.

In a twist, Amaka’s employer gives her a lifeline to win a big account with a Lagos-based, Nigerian company. She must head to Nigeria with a colleague of hers on this desperate mission. But there is a caveat, the deal must be wrapped up in 30 Days or else she loses everything.

Speaking about the movie, Emem Ema, producer describes Kpali as the real sauce of the yuletide season. “We are proud of the work that we put into Kpali and we can feel the anticipation already. It was amazing working with the fine set of actors that brought the Kpali story to life. Kpali is that feel-good movie Nigerians will love to see over and again in the good company of friends and family. Every family has that Amaka story that they can relate with,” she enthused.
