It’s Almost Here! Watch the Official Trailer for the Whitney Houston Biopic

Since the announcement of a biopic for music legend Whitney Houston (click here if you missed it) we have been eager to get a peek at the filming of the movie.

Starring Yaya DaCosta as Whitney Houston and directed by Angela Bassett, Lifetime has released the official trailer for the movie and we have to admit, it’s looking good.

The movie is set for release on January 17, 2015, so we have only a few more weeks.

For Angela Bassett’s directorial debut, the Lifetime telepic will chronicle the tumultuous relationship between the legendary singer/actress with her singer/songwriter ex-husband Bobby Brown (played by Belizean actor Arlen Escarpeta).
