We Ate, Played & Made a Difference at the Goal ’16 Charity Football Fiesta & Abuja Food Bazaar! See all the FUN Photos
The Goal series is an initiative created to support less privileged children and promote the development of the ability of the youths in Nigeria. Goal 2016, is the third edition of this initiative’s football development program, as such, it endears to be better and more impactful than the previous editions.
Goal ’16 Charity Football fiesta took place on Saturday, August 13th 2016 at the Citybridge Sportsplex, City Park, Wuse 2, Abuja with children from various orphanages across in Abuja participating i the event. Homes represented include Mother Theresa Orphanage, Victorine home for children, Charity Faith and Hope orphanage home, Esther City of Zion orphanage home, all based in Abuja.
There were soccer matches between teams from the respective orphanages and a novelty football matches, as well as Abuja Food Bazaar powered by Abuja eats. Donations were also made to provide for the immediate needs of the orphanages and support the orphanages in setting up means to generate funds.
