This one really surprised us!
With “Change Your Parade” and “Good Lovin“, we had placed rising rapper Lynxxx in the playful, party boy rapper box but with this track, Lynxxx flips the script and hits the track hard!

DAMNNNNN!!!!! THIS DEFINES A TRUE ARTIST! BEING ABLE TO EXECUTE VERSATILITY AND STILL SOUND ORIGINAL! I GUESS HE KNOWS ABOUT THE MUSIC BUSINESS! MAKING THE MONEY MAKERS WHICH HE HAS PROVED NOT ONCE BUT TWICE AS WELL AS GOING HARD AND EARNING RESPECT AS A RAPPER TOO! WELL THIS GOES TO SHOW U CANT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! THERE HAS BEEN SOMETHING ABOUT THIS DUDE THAT HAS ALWAYS SPARKED MY INTEREST AND I AM NOT ONLY A FAN BUT A BELIEVER IN HIS MOVEMENT! KEEP IT UP BRUV, UR IN UR OWN LANE!

      • Olo-lu-lo August 17, 2010 at 4:18 AM

    • Fatimah August 16, 2010 at 10:38 PM

I don’t understand him singing about haters though. Didn’t he just come out, he is not even on the level of D’banj. I crack up at new acts bragging about they have done and haters this. I just don’t get it.

    • Damola August 17, 2010 at 12:04 AM

      Grammer too much.

      • hayze August 17, 2010 at 2:56 PM

No blame anybody 4 ur illiteracy!! go listen to terry g!!!

    • Nice Anon August 17, 2010 at 12:12 AM

na so! once you get on the mic you automatically have harras. I wonder who ya harras are. Focus on your new career and leave harras ourra it

    • hayze August 17, 2010 at 1:55 AM

@fatimah u clearly didnt understand what u listened to!

so from what u got from this tune is he is talking to haters? u probably dont listen to rap music cos from the jump of the song, he said he has a mission of heading to the top and the rest of the track talks about his struggles of recording songz to eventually earning respect for his craft! whats wrong with that?? hiphop is a competitive sport and to survive u have to be self confident and thats all he displayed on this song.
A friend played it for me and i downloaded it and hv listened to it a couple times today and i follow him on twitter and i must say he does turn night time to his day light because if u read his timelines he always tlks about being in the studio at 3am sumtimes 7am! so cut these artists some slack before u diss their efforts because they represent us in and outside the country. This artist is on his way up, evn dbanj started somewhere!!! support ur own.

Ummm… I don’t think he has to wait till he has a million haters before he sings about them. 10, even 5 “strong” haters can be draining. And IMHO this guy is an inspiration cos he’s actually following his dream and veering from the norm. Thumbs up Lynxxx

    • Fatimah August 17, 2010 at 4:18 AM

@hayze. If I am not a fan of someone’s music I do not have to support anything. I like P-square so I bought their album and went to their concert. I love Yinka Ayefele so I have all his CDs and went to see him live. So yes I do support my own when I am impressed with what their offering. That is the interesting thing about art, everyone has their own interpretation. There are other things to sing about than haters. And I was just using D’banj as a reference to make my point.

    • Bisola August 17, 2010 at 4:36 AM

“I see you fucking internet haters”, those were the last words of the song. It is pretty obvious what he is talking about. I don’t think Fatima is far off.

you need to check that video out…
      i’m in love!

    • Missy Me August 17, 2010 at 12:04 PM

I like the song…but isn’t this Drake’s Unforgettable. I don’t know, I think expected a bit more originality. I mean after Naeto C also copying Drake’s Successful, feeling a bit disappointed – what is it about African artists snagging western beats, we dont need it. We’re hot anyway, lol. Still love them tho…better luck next time, hey boys?!

      • hayze August 17, 2010 at 3:04 PM

Nigerians need to stop being ignorant, thats why pple make mix tapes!! that is where u are able to step out of the usual sound u have and just have fun making music on industry beat to just release 4 pples listening pleasures! He never claimed to be his track neither is it a full song, as u can hear its just a vrs……..its music as long as its within legal terms i believe any artist can use any beat for non profitable reasons!

that being said, i think the track is cool!

    • D.O.T.M.H. August 17, 2010 at 2:44 PM

ummm… ok so I didn’t listen to the song before commenting. . . Now I’m not impressed.

    • hayze August 17, 2010 at 3:33 PM

@olo-lu-lo : Please define ”talent”? bcos ur obviously unemployed and broke to be sittig on the internet talking condemning somebody who is achieving in life and in what he does! its pple like u he was referring to! but guess what, ur dumb opinion doesnt count either way so………keep typing while pple get money! Olodo

    • Olo-lu-lo August 17, 2010 at 4:04 PM

My opinion doesn’t count abi…..that’s y u come dey vex here. Oloshi! junior acheiver oshi. You won’t go and find husband, be dashing lynxx props. Ode go and look into longman’s to see definition of talent. Nxt thing you’ll come here and tell me lynxxx is a star so i should shut my mouth. Oponu!

    • hayze August 17, 2010 at 5:03 PM

I dont blame u, i blame who give u internet! excited monkey!! no go do sumthing better with ur time! Peace out BN

    • Fatima August 17, 2010 at 5:19 PM

Clearly Hayze is a member of his PR or marketing team. Why are you insulting people because they don’t share your opinion. It is not that serious.

      • eMJOY Mayowa August 18, 2010 at 10:04 AM

        EXACTLY I agree wit u Fatima. @Hayze for love’s sake… get a break!

    • deedoubleU August 17, 2010 at 6:02 PM

@jess….hehehe, uhmmm i guess so too
@fatima i totally understand where you are coming from, new acts, same swag.. but it’s a know fact that All rappers are the best and they all have harrers.. hehehe…
Ok but seriously, some of u do not need to
com here, acting rude and exchange words.. .. There’s no need for one or two persons to start taking things/comment personal, so , some of you can like to take a chill pill… Another man’s food is another man’s poison. You feel the track is rock solid..and some thing it’s wack, different strokes for different folks… It aint hating!.. it’s there own opinion#finito
The rap was alright and it wasn’t Wow-utunu, i get the playful swag and all,..but I just felt he could have done a lot better…and #Ihatenot!

    • Anon August 17, 2010 at 8:16 PM

      Chai,
You guys will be arguing as if they are paying you money…..
      I’m not a fan of this track…
      But….
      I’ll give kudos for effort…..
It’s easy for people to sit down and pass judgement…. But you that you are talking, what have you done?
Pick the tree out of your eye before coming on here to knock somebody elses hard work…
Some of you are talking as if he should stop singing because you’re not a fan of his work….
Through all the hits and miss, you honestly can’t say that you do not see talent somewhere.
      Abeg, free the guy….
And if you really think he’s crap (self appointed music experts), then release your own “better song” nah.

    • Lola August 17, 2010 at 9:09 PM

      Olu-lo-lo…
Your comment CRACKED me the f*ck up..
Truly some people NEED to hear the truth.
      Haters ko
      Haters ni.

    • nikky August 18, 2010 at 1:40 AM

i know we have very talented rappers in Nigeria but using words like mo fuckers, fuck everyone, shit, niggers, is kind of new to me in the Nigerian rap. i know i shouldn’t tell anyone how to make their music but they should tone it down a little

      • THE AMAKA August 18, 2010 at 4:34 PM

YES! all they do is copy copy copy copy! never original. its sad

Lynxxx… FUCK THE HATERS!!! Keep doing what you are doing, cuz you are doing it well!!! Everything you drop is hot! And in reference to an earlier comment ‘yeah, he’s a star!’

    • SonOfMusic September 6, 2010 at 2:57 PM

I don’t know about the rest of you but when it comes down to it, music from a rapper or a singer is an expression of themselves and their experiences. It’s called freedom of speech. First of all understand the msg the artist is trying to convey and then give contstructive and honest criticism on how they delivered it, but don’t insult an artist for expressing themselves musically.

    • Oluchi October 15, 2010 at 3:55 PM

Wannabe Tupac and Ludacris. But his track is good. He try.
