hmmn i love all the songs in the hottest single of the year category..it is soo hard to choose but i would give it to obianuju just because i think duncan mighty is underrated and he should be given a chance plus that song is too much ooo

    • Ibukun May 26, 2011 at 10:31 PM

Is there like a REALLY good reason why this particular awards show is never in Nigeria?

    • THE AMAKA May 27, 2011 at 2:46 AM

why not in Abuja, Calabar, or something? we need to be totally naija in everything. going to new york defeats the purpose. mtchewwww.
      anyway, GO GENNY!

    • Lidia May 27, 2011 at 4:04 AM

Hmm.. Omotola for Ije?? It’s almost like they had to add her to the list any which way cause she was in no way better than Genny in that movie in my opinion. They should have waited for that Ghana movie to come out first.

    • PLEASE READ July 17, 2011 at 8:48 PM

WHY IS EVERYONE COMPLAINING THAT IT IS IN NYC. HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN THE MILLIONS OF NIGERIANS AND OTHER AFRICANS WHO LISTEN TO NIGERIAN MUSIC, THAT LIVE IN THE U.S….THEY ARE NOT ALWAYS ABLE TO AFFORD $2000 TO FLY TO NIGERIA EVERY TIME THER IS AN AWARD CEREMONY OR BIG EVENT. BUT THOSE BIG ARTIST ARE INDEED ABLE TO FLY TO THE STATES TO SHOW LOVE TO THEIR FANS HERE AS WELL. SO DO BE STINGY NOR STUPID. PEOPLE NEED TO START EXPANDING THEIR THOUGHT PROCESS! AND STOP COMPLAINING SO MUCH, JUST BE HAPPY AND BE POSITIVE. IS IT NOT THE MAMA AWARDS THAT IS HELD IN AFRICA EVERY YEAR. LET THE MILLIONS OF AFRICANS IN THE U.S. GET SOME LOVE ASWELL.
