The promo machine for the new Jenifa movie – “The Return of Jenifa” has hit full throttle!
Check out these new promo shots for Funke Akindele – the writer and lead star of the “Jenifa” movies.
According to the actress’s publicist, Bigsam Media, TROJ will exceed whatever record ‘Jenifa’ set. In a statement released, the firm stated that “We have it on record that Jenifa sold over eight million copies which exclude the pirated copies taken abroad and we believe TROJ will overtake that record and set another one. The kind of effort that was put into the production of the movie is unequal. The DOP, DJ Tee, cast and crew, budget, and standard applied have not been seen in recent times. Asides all these, the storyline is refreshing and different. This is one movie that will break cinema record and set a new one”.
The cast for the movie include Funke Akindele, Banky W, Kaffy, Eldee, Freeze, Eniola Badmus, Yinka Quadri, Wizkid, Antar Olaniyan, Mercy Aigbe, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Denrele Edun, CD John, Helen Paul, Naeto C, DJ Zeez and many others.

I dont speak yoruba but love the movie none the less, cos i understand the movie perfectly. But someone explain this to me, what did she said after she said “You dont know, you dont know ??????” it sounded funny – cos she is struggling to let the english out and she was like “Oh wharraheck” let me speak my yoruba. I like Funke but this photo shoot made her look as if she is 8 years older than she really is. did someone not know how to style her? she looks great with her actual hair, but adding these wigs and weaves did her no justice. weaves are not for everyone, abeg.

thats exactly what I’m talking about. not everyone needs hair to look good. she is rocking a short haircut, almost bald, and i think that looks better than those granny wigs on her head. please, i know she is rocking a short do and i love it that way. as i said, wigs and weaves is not for everyone.
look at flaviana matata for example. weaves would take away from her striking beauty.
