We are so excited that African fashion takes centre stage on the global fashion scene once again when ARISE Magazine presents the ARISE Magazine “Made in Africa” fashion collective show during the September 2011 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York.
Designers who will be showing at the event include Lanre DaSilva-Ajayi, Jewel by Lisa, Asibelua, Bunmi Koko, Tsemaye Binitie, Pierre- Antoine Vettorello and Klûk CGDT.
ARISE has promised that international star, Leona Lewis will also perform at the event. Adding a musical spin that is rarely experienced during fashion week.
This is definitely going to be a SHOW!

Well they’re all good I guess but won’t lie tired of some here sha. I can already imagine what they will show but would be eager to see Bunmi koko and tesemaye since he’s also the new cat up there.

I am reeeeally feeling binitie’s work! have you guys seen the collection on his website? Chic and subtle, and just lovely. So proud of our naija talent! Even though some are more radical than others! …I wish I could have seen what kind of creative madness kikikamanu would have done at Arise. Turkish delight! haha
