The sonic experiment never stops! Jesse Jagz brings us new sounds in Demo. So far, we’ve heard Las Gidi Grinding and Choc Boy Swag. This is the third song we’ve heard from the Choc Boy since he broke the silence after his debut album. It is worthy of note how easily Jagz has picked up Yoruba and infused it in his lyrics, in what he has called Cele Church influenced sounds. Of his newest offerings, we like this best.

I don’t know…this joint is in bad need of a female lead. Juz sayn.

I’m still waiting for Mr. Jagz “Sugarcane Baby” type sound to come back. THAT was a classic! Nonetheless, love that he’s not afraid to experiment in Naija’s music environment and hope he keeps doing so.

This is straight up versatility, after his work on the Ice Prince album, I think this man is up there with Don Jazzy on top producer nods. I like the experimentation with the church hymns and songs. #fearless art. Kudos!
