BellaNaija Weddings brought you the first photos and first look at the official wedding video for Nollywood superstar Stephanie Okereke and Linus Idahosa‘s fairytale wedding which took place on the 21st of April 2012 at the Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay located in the Chevreuse valley in the Rambouillet state-owned forest, just outside Paris, France.
You’ve seen the twitpics, you’ve seen the video but you know we just had to give Stephanie and Linus the complete the BN Weddings experience!
Let’s start with the proposal! Linus proposed to Stephanie on her birthday in October 2010. He reportedly told her “…Marry me and be the mother of my children. I love you.” So sweet!
The couple spent the next 15 months planning their wedding with the help of Paris-based wedding planners, Fete in France. Their wedding weekend started with a luxe pre-wedding boat cruise with close friends and family in attendance.
Stephanie selected her dream dress “Euterpe” from the 2012 Elie by Elie Saab collection, the Lebanese Couturier’s line for Pronovias. She completed her bridal look with a cathedral length lace veil, sparkly Mui Miu shoes, a dainty tiara and a bouquet of cascading orchids. Linus was reminiscent of French royalty in his white ensemble. Stephanie and Linus’ wedding was beyond beautiful! Fireworks, roses, candlelight, couture and love! Every single element was amazing. We love, love, love!
BN wishes Stephanie and Linus all the very best in their journey as husband and wife. May each day be blessed and filled with favour.

The classiest and nicest nigerian (african) wedding I have ever seen. The wedding of the decade. So well detailed and classy, not overbearing, just right. Name me one nigerian wedding that surpasses this one not even the several billonaires daughters ones pass this one. None whatsover at least that I know of. Pure class in all sense of the word. Difference between Razz and Class. This goes to show u can give a hundred thousand dollars to a razz chick for a wedding and fifty thousand dollars to a classy chick for a wedding and the classy chick will surpass the razz for sure. Stephanie through our eus as we been watching for over 10yrs on screen has, had a lot of heartbreaks in her personal live (from her old interviews), almost lost her life in an accident (yet she never gave up even if it meant using crutches or canes in a movie scene to be able to walk) and in a few years see what God has done.blessed her enormously with a cute handsome husband and a classy dignified wedding unsurpassed. There is a biblical quote to this testimony but I forgot. If anybody is going thru any relationship heartbreaks in life, Stephanies story should be a testmony to u that God always comes thru and he’s never late. This is the BEST wedding video I’ve seen till date; it was as if I was watching a movie preview. I was gobsmacked when the groom was taking his vows with the music playing in the background, that particular scene did it for me. It asked myself if I was watching a movie or a real life wedding.

Nice. There have been a lot of Nigerian weddings like this, even far elaborate but not in Nigeria…I have been to some in Canada and a bit here in the States. It is just that most people keep it even classier by keeping their affairs private. But for Nollywood types…I am really impressed by this one.
