Those shoes are Victoria Beckham! They aren’t even in stores yet -

        • T October 29, 2012 at 10:13 PM

And so flipping WHAT? They are ugly simples. That is why I like Elohor, simplicity at its peak, and she always nails it!

        • JJ October 29, 2012 at 11:13 PM

She has the money but not the style. At least, she gives something a lot of women her age or a little younger will not even dare to. Give me that money let me create a better look for her.
But what does Elohor have to with this woman though? They both different “styles”.

    • Peperempe October 29, 2012 at 4:48 PM

I’m not quite sure what to make of Lagos style anymore. Once upon a time, everyone tried to look the same. Now it seems everyone is trying to look different ( random colour combinations, socks and sandals, weird colours for guys etc.). Trouble is they end up looking uniformly different. Like they’re all trying just a bit too hard and still coming up with derivatives of the same style.

For example, one guy shaved his head and kept a beard cause he thought it made him look different and suddenly every guy in Lagos is doing the same thing! I don’t get it. Look at the picture of Chin Okeke (in the beige suit) and his friend in the dark one. Half the men in Lagos now carry their hair like that

I understand what you’re saying but…. Its called trends… it doesn’t only happen in Lagos, its all over the world! If people like a certain style or look its a trend and changes along with time…. there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. “Once upon a time everyone tried to look the same” don’t exactly know what time you are talking about, people have always tried to look different… its just a little more obvious due to the burst of the fashion industry (Africa mainly) and I’m loving the more fashion conscious Africa. Bright pants for guys is whats in trend now and it’ll be different next year, that’s why its a …trend :)

This is not an attack :)

I hope the shaved head with a beard trend stays for even longer. i dig it like crazy. They look so hot!

    • Fashionbabe October 29, 2012 at 5:01 PM

So tell me, what is “classy” about this “party”?

    • nino October 29, 2012 at 5:33 PM

i was here….pictures look nice but this was a very boring event…as in boring…

    • Jay Roy October 29, 2012 at 7:41 PM

The desire to look unique has ‘pushed’ some over the ‘line’

      • JJ October 29, 2012 at 11:26 PM

Of course! That some even wear evening gowns from Singapore to the “Launch event of blackberry cases”. My gad.

    • mimi_h October 29, 2012 at 9:12 PM

these pictures are kinda drab and depressing… wheres the fun???? like!!!!!!!!!!!
And that lady with socks on sandals, thats the wrong way to team it up, if at all u should do such..

      • Sbaby October 29, 2012 at 10:59 PM

Most of them are just posers, i must beling fir this lagos too oh i want to pose and look like person

    • mujer October 30, 2012 at 1:03 AM

Nkiru Anumudu – Shoes are so clubby and age inappropriate. You can look sexy if you wanted. Those laced up things are not doing it. Worse still, they dont go with the outfit. Now what is it with the dude with the suit and weird failed puff puff hair? Any there are some ghostly pictures like the oyibo woman with the failed reddish blond tint.Is she human?Oh well, na me no appear for website. Make I go siddon look.

    • Cool cat October 30, 2012 at 3:48 AM

super impressed with the fashion, moreso when no one is wearing knock off designer garbs. only need adaora oleh to say where she installed her wig, too madtt

    • bbb October 30, 2012 at 7:08 AM

      wadami kisses….. lovely

    • Tosin October 30, 2012 at 7:38 AM

      I AM biased.
Why I liked this post: The Oke something guy’s pants/trousers. Love them best in the first photo where it looks like the only patch is over the crotch area. Cute. A bit of a bummer to see the flower patches all over the legs tho. Try that idea again.
White boy looks like somebody…there was a guy in some finance movie, dating this redhead daughter of rich guy Michael Douglas? Ah, Andy Murray. Oh coool. They got Andy Murray? No, just looks like him. Moving on.

Honest truth about what I DO NOT like about the post:
      1. Blackberry covers? Who cares?
      2. Fake artsy fartsiness. Who cares?

What I also like, that is not male:
Designs by rookie designers. Fresh. Unadulterated. Cool.
And how sweet of the Lisa chick to give them a platform – I’m guessing.

One love. Gotta go to work.

I love Lisa Folawiyo and I love the BB cases too. especially the green one.
And yes I can imagine how boring this event must have been, doesn’t mean there was no networking to be done though, lol.
