Edee Beau - Hollywood Bride Ngozi - July 2013 - BellaNaijaWeddings002
We are loving gorgeous bride Ngozi! Hair stylist/makeup artiste Edee Beau created a “Hollywood Glamour” themed look for the bride’s traditional and white wedding day.

Here is what Edee Beau had to say about making over Ngozi on her special days.

Inspired by Hollywood’s red carpet events, my bride took the non-traditional approach to both her dresses and of course her hair & makeup.

Her excitement and inspiration stimulated my creative juices to the intriguing and glamorous world of Hollywood. I wanted her to look as though she was presenting or better still still receiving her first Oscar. She exudes this amazing African beauty I admire so I had to keep it simple. I am all about enhancing beauty especially when it comes to brides (the husband-to-be needs to recognise her, right?)

The result is so stunning! The makeup and hair perfectly complements Ngozi’s showstopping traditional outfit and wedding dress. J’adore!

Is this a real wedding or advertisement?
Point of correction BN, Igbos perform complete traditional wedding not traditional engagement. Meaning, to be married the traditional way, series of rites are performed with the wine carrying being the last. Once it is finished, you are considered married not engaged. It is different from the Yoruba culture, which is engagement.

Never was a fan of cinderella ball dresses, but the bride’s gown is just lovely. And the green of the bridesmaids gowns? Absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful bride!
