Tiwa Savage in Mai Atafo Inspired

Tiwa Savage co-hosted the awards show with her fellow Mavin Records artiste Dr Sid. She showed off her sartorial edge on Thursday night.

The “Eminado” chart topping singer sparkled in a black sequined pant suit by Mai Atafo Inspired from its Bond Collection displayed at the 2013 Music Meets Runway show. (click here)

Leaving her black bow tie undone, Mrs Balogun accessorized with diamond earrings, her wedding ring and a pair of silver heels. She finished the look with wavy locks and neutral lipstick.

Once again, she took to the stage in another piece by Mai Atafo Inspired. This time, it was a floral short pant suit. She styled it with a yellow camisole, and the same accessories.

Tiwa Savage in Meena

For her final look of the night, she chose a black gown by Meena.

The high neck dress, features a velvet bodice and dramatic figure hugging skirt. Letting the dress speak for itself, Tiwa played down on accessorizing.

Keeping her hairstyle the same, she accessorized with silver earrings.

Osas Ighodaro in Chi Chi Vogue

Nollywood starlet Osas Ighodaro who was one of the presenters at the music awards ceremony, took a stunning approach to the black carpet.

The spaghetti strap nude dress with black detailing and a tulle skirt by Chi Chi Vogue, was styled with diamond stud earrings, and a black clutch.

The Tinsel actress finished the look with a sleek ponytail, highlighted eyebrows, smokey eyes and red lipstick.

Funmi Iyanda in Iconic Invanity

Funmi Iyanda made a youthful return to the red carpet on Thursday night.

The TV presenter chose to show-off her fit bod in a sequined and graphic multi-coloured jumpsuit by Iconic Invanity.

We have’nt seen a lot of the Nigerian design label’s Spring 2014 collection on the red carpet, so it was a delight for the BN Style team when Funmi selected a piece.

Unlike the runway model who wore the piece with a silver satin blouse, Funmi Iyanda selected a halter neck crop top from the same collection.

She styled the outfit with drop earrings, a silver cocktail ring, a yellow clutch and silver sandals.

Banky W in Mai Atafo Inspired

Not only did Banky W pick up an award for “Good Good Loving”, he definitely topped a lot of people’s Best Dressed List including ours yesterday night.

The R&B sensation rocked a grey blazer with black leather lapels. He styled it with a white shirt, a black tie, black pants, dark shades and black shoes.

Yvonne “Vixen” Ekwere in Wiezdhum Franklyn

Yvonne “Vixen” Ekwere was a sheer beauty yesterday in a risque dress by Wiezdhum Franklyn.

The blue frock with specifically placed lace detailing, clearly leaves nothing to the imagination but Yvonne was able to pull off the look; making it look classy rather than trashy.

Happy to flaunt her toned bod under the see-through piece, the TV presenter styled it with gold drop earrings, a gold ring and blue heels.

She wrapped up the look with wavy locks, smouldering eyes and neutral lipstick.

Waje: Which is Your Favourite Look?

Waje had the highest number of nominations for a female at The Headies 2013, so it only seems right that she gave us more than one look.

Look 1: On Thursday, the singer who debuted her new haircut posed for the cameras on the red carpet in a sequined one-shoulder Grecian-inspired red dress with a thigh high slit.

She accessorized with silver drop earrings, a silver ring, a red clutch and red heels.

Look 2: To perform her song “I Wish”, the mother of 1 looked oh-so-pretty in a black long sleeve baby doll mini dress.

She accessorized with silver drop earrings, a stylish cocktail ring and silver metallic stilettos.

We think she nailed Look 2 more, but let us know which look you are loving more.

Andrea Manuela Giaccaglia in IamISIGO

Italian-Ghanaian model Andrea Manuela Giaccaglia has been a style star on the rise in 2013, we can’t wait to see what she has in store for 2014.

But just before the year wraps up, she presented another stunning look. She chose a black hand-painted satin dress with side cut-outs from IamISIGO‘s Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collection.

She finished the look with gold earrings, a gold bracelet and a black knuckle box clutch.

Toke Makinwa in April by Kunbi & Mi-Le

Toke Makinwa hosted the black carpet at The Headies 2013.

Look 1: The Nigerian media personality arrived in a pink lace floor length dress with a bejeweled belt from April by Kunbi. She accessorized with gold drop earrings and a gold cuff.

Rocking her signature new hairstyle, she finished the look with smouldering eyes and light pink lipstick.

Look 2: No award show will be complete without someone pulling her best Angelina Jolie. Toke did that in a red dress by Mi-Le.

She styled the dress which features a lace bodice and long sleeve as well as a thigh high slit with silver hoop earrings, and black heels.
