by Dotun (about his wife Boluwatife –A #BBNWonderland Bride)

Having been married for a very long time now (a whole two months wedding anniversary), I only wonder to myself why I didn’t pop the question a very long time ago. I say to myself, “so this is the life you have been missing Dotun”. My precious wife has made my life complete. She is #ThatAmazingWoman I have missing.

I want to say a big thank you to you first of all for accepting my proposal to be your lawfully wedded husband. Although, it seems like a short time we have been married, I feel like we have known each other all our lives. You have brought a new meaning into life, a reason to wake up in the morning and start the hustle again just to continue to put that smile on your face.

I remember the very first day I returned from work and I said to myself, my woman is in that house, and all of a sudden an unexplained smile came to my face and I unlocked the door and I said, “honey I’m home”, I received the biggest hug I have ever felt and I felt fulfilled. You’re my sunshine, my everything. I cherish and continue to cherish every moment we spend together. You give me a purpose.

Your words of encouragement always resonate in me, every time I am down, you say to me don’t worry everything would be alright, and I always trust and believe you, and it’s always alright eventually. Your magic touch and words with angelical feeling gives me the vibe to keep going. All I want to do is give you the world, because I know you already have given me yours. You are #ThatAmazingWoman in my life.

Words aren’t enough for me to express my feelings towards you. I love you my beautiful woman, my love, my friend, my partner in crime. I celebrate you my beautiful wife, and the woman you have become. I’ll always celebrate you every day of my life. I love you my baby and I always will.

Happy Mother’s Day!

God! I love my son with every single thing within me and I am sorry but I will not share that position (Mother) with anyone. A wife is a wife and a mother a mother

Dotun Dotun, I remember this guy so well in Lead City Days. Bobo is an efico and very good in accounting. His brother Ahmed is such a cool guy too.
    God bless your home.

The curious cat in me wants to know the purpose of this letter here (bellanaija’s space):
    – Is it to assure people that husbands still write loving messages to the wives?
    – Is it meant to be a breathe of fresh air from domestic violence?
    – Is it to equate wives to mothers?
    – Who sent this to bellanaija? Husband or Wife? This article doesn’t say if it was got from the wife’s social media page or vice versa, so permit my question.

Don’t get me wrong o, this is definitely a nice gesture; however, please let private matters be private o. E no dey hard now, you people will say “bellanaijarians” are all up in your business.

And taking a cue from @Gerry’s comment, a wife is a wife and cannot not be a mother and vice versa… So until we have Wife’s Day, let’s just stick to celebrating mothers on Mother’s Day….

Don’t come for me, I haven’t sent for no one #JustMeThinkingOutLoudLikeEdSheeran

The first paragraph CLEARLY states “…to celebrate your mother OR #ThatAmazingWoman in your life”.
