Novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is among the 400 women included in the special issue of National Geographic Magazine landmark book titled “WOMEN: The National Geographic Image Collection.”

The book celebrated women from all across the globe, and is set to mark the 100th anniversary of the U.S. constitutional amendment confirming women’s right to vote.

The book was (and is National Geographic’s first issue to achieve this feat) written and photographed exclusively by women, and is published by the first female Editorial Director of the magazine Susan Goldberg.

The book is divided into six themes; Joy, Hope, Beauty, Wisdom, Strength and Love, and includes other powerful women around the globe like Oprah Winfrey, Melinda Gates, and Christiane Amanpour.
