African Beauty – Under A Starry Night: Odio Mimonet for Vlisco

This is the finale of our Vlisco Urban Beat Reports and its a grand one. Odio Mimonet’s design sensibility is undeniable. Clothing from the label are functional yet always have that x-factor. For the Vlisco show, Odio Oseni presented a diverse range of pieces – urban inspired jumpsuits, ruffled dresses, asian-flavoured ankara clutches even your basic ‘long skirt & top’ looked uber-haute after the Odio Mimonet treatment. Overall, a collection to be proud of! Looking forward to seeing Odio Mimonet on the international scene soon.

Love the bags! would get them in a heart beat but the clothes are ok – the patterns are too busy for the designs

When we look at a designers work, we should take away what we can , Appreciating their choice of fabric, style, originality and most of all the cut. With all of this we can see how talented they are.
These are Beautiful pieces that I would wear. Well done!
