In Emmem Isong’s BURSTING OUT, ” This is Nigeria… Society demands that U get married.
In TIES THAT BIND, “This is Africa… Society demands…
We need some originality. One idea could be expressed in several ways. Just saying…

The originality should lie in the STORY on which the film is based and how the director choses to show it frame by frame and the actors interpretation. Focusing on the tag line is tantamount to you throwing out the baby with the bath water. There can never be no comparison between Emem Isong and Leila Djansi, those two are like apples and oranges but fruits but two VERY different fruits.

I was reading about Kimberly Elise.. and I saw that her maternal descent is of the Songhai people!! how? because her mother is African American, so are her grandmother and greatgrandmother.. there is only so far one African American who was able to trace his ancestral origin and that was the late ALEX HALEY. I don’t think Kimberly has Songhai roots because my grandmother is from Songhai Mali and married to a Nigerian, and Songhai people don’t have traits like Elise.. She looks more like the people of Republic of Benin Or a Ghana
