BN Bytes: Miss Nigeria Oluwadamilola Agbajor visits Ibadan South West Local Government Flooding Relief Camp

On Thursday 8th September 2011, Miss Nigeria Queen Ambassador Oluwadamilola Agbajor visited the State of Oyo and had the privilege of donating food by DE United Foods (makers of Indomie Noodles) and clothing provided by Vlisco Nigeria to the Ibadan South West Local Government Relief Camp, the area most devastated by the Friday 26th August 2011  flooding in Oyo State.

Queen Ambassador Oluwadamilola Agbajor presented the food and clothing items to the Chairman of the Ibadan South West Local Government Area, Honourable Taoreed Adeleke and also met with members of the Nigeria Red Cross who were working tirelessly in assisting residents of the Local Government regain a level of normalcy after the devastating floods that claimed over 30 lives.

Miss Nigeria was also able to put smiles on the faces of the children who had spent the past 13days at the camp with their families  after losing their homes in the devastating floods.

How come indomie is the only thing all the celebrities donate to the less privilege. I acknowledge your effort though, and may God bless you.

@ Lola…I have always thought of the same thing. Thank God you have the courage to voice it and I second it. Do they all really have to get a photographer and then publicise their good deeds? Didn’t the bible say someplace that “when you do a good deed with your right hand, let not your left hand know it and that your reward is in heaven”? …or something in that line? Haba…Some Naija pple and their Poverty-mindedness!!!

God bless @Lola and Chioma, I sincerely don’t see the point of this publicity…….so she gave 20 cartons of Noodles …so what? Giving should be with a motive to help and not show off….its between You and your God.

ah ahn, but people i thought it was part of a beauty queen’s official obligations? Giving to the needy I mean. I agree that indomie doesn’t really cut it but at least let’s appreciate her effort. At least its better than some that always have one pet project or the other that we never see.
