Nigerian musician Ruggedman is entering into the fashion industry for the second time.
A few years ago, he launched his label, 20th September Wear – T.S.W by Ruggedman – then shut it down after a few months. Now he is relaunching the brand, this time the focus is on contemporary women and men.
Shoes, tees and watches seem to be the new focus.
This is more of a foray into fashion branding as opposed to fashion design.
This fashion branding business model has been successfully used by international stars including Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton. Seems like a smart move for Ruggedy.
An ad campaign for the relaunch of the brand has been shot by Shola Animashaun and will debut soon. Nigerian model Bisi Rahaman is the face of the inaugural T.S.W by Ruggedman campaign.
