On Friday 18th November 2011, HAIRVEN  Hair Care Products held its maiden edition tagged – “The Hairven Glam Up Project”  at the New Hall, University of Lagos.

This beauty and lifestyle exhibition event saw numerous display of goods and services by these vendors – Zelua Spa and Unisex Salon, SheizaDiva Fashion, Shadee Hair Solutions, The Lingerie Store, Nadine Beauty Studio, Zaron Cosmetics and Dessert Delight who provided finger licking cupcakes.

Fun was the order of the day as guests from far and near including students of UNILAG received facial treatments, massages, eye lash extensioms and beauty makeovers. Guests also shopped around for clothing, accessories and lingerie. Female attendees also gave their damaged and tangled hair extensions a free treatment with HAIRVEN hair care products and were very much pleased with the outstanding results. Up-coming rock musician – Clay was also present to thrill attendees with her single “Ogadisinma”.

Banky W was also at the event to thrill guests with his music and encourage ladies to buy HAIRVEN products. He also showed his support by purchasing a complete set of HAIRVEN hair care products for 2 lucky female attendees.

CEO of HAIRVEN Hair Care Products – Iroghama Ogbeifun said “This is the first of a series to come to different Nigerian Universities, promoting the HAIRVEN brand and the spirit of entrepreneurship” and further spoke on what to expect from the brand “Watch out for the HAIRVEN relaxer kit to be launched in the first quarter of 2012. The HAIRVEN range includes moisturizing shampoo, silk protein conditioner, silk serum, leave in conditioner, styling gel, styling mousse and a heat protectant styling spray”

    I think it’s crazy that a hair sold to university students (or at least a student environment) shud cost 70-140k
    what does that say? what kind of values do we have.
    I was there and i know what i am saying.
    I guess the voltrons can begin to place their hater tags on me now.

      Your argument is valid but don’t forget that there may be rich folks who can afford it. Whoever wants to copy them and do things for money to purchase this premium product is entirely up to them. That shouldn’t stop the young lady from being an entrepreneur. #justsaying
