Bacardi celebrates 150 years of Brewing its Premium Rum Drink! Photos of Bridget Awosika, DJ Casie, Mannie, Efe Tommy, Hauwa Mukan, Wale Ojo & More at the Event in Lagos

On Friday 25th May 2012, Premium rum brand – Bacardi celebrated 150 years of providing Nigerians, Africans and the entire world with its refreshing drink at Level 7, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The spectacular event which kicked off at 9 PM, was hosted by Hauwa Mukan and Andrea. As guests arrived at the venue, they were greeted by the Bacardi Ushers with a shot of Bacardi Oakheart, they were then escorted into the hall where DJ Caise kept everyone entertained with the best of Nigerian hits. Guests who purchased a bottle of Bacardi Oakheart were served canapes and given gifts in a private room called The Bat Cave.

Later on, a Nigerian dance group came out to entertain everyone,  after which the Bacardi Birthday cake was cut with some of the guests. The highlight of the event was when a volunteer took several shots at the gazebo and finally hit it hard enough for the numerous yummy chocolates in it to fall out for all to take.

Fashion designer Bridget Awosika, TV Presenter Efe Tommy, Actor Wale Ojo, Michelle Dede and Mannie of Cool FM were also present at Bacardi’s 150th celebration in Lagos. Missed it? Not to worry, here are all the photos.

I still don’t understand wearing tights in Nigeria. Looks like i spotted Amin Moussalli, three pictures after the first picture of Funmi SM Daniels (who also wore tights!)

  • Gidi June 3, 2012 at 1:13 am

Wale Ojo had better thank his God that i am a man and straight. Else, there would be a case of molestation of some sort.

  • L.A Chick June 3, 2012 at 1:58 am

  • MiMi June 3, 2012 at 8:49 pm

Lmao! At Efe has a new belt..hahaha..

But really what’s up with the chick in the green skirt and thick opaque tights?! Really in Nigeria? Are the Mosquitos that bad in Lagos? #justsaying But her outfit is ‘okay’ compared with the off key looks she normally tries to pull off! Which is ‘Not’ fashion!

  • marvel June 3, 2012 at 9:21 pm

Yes, tights in Nigeria is taking it too far. If you feel that insecure about your legs, wear trousers or a maxi skirt.

I have come to the conclusion that some of these ladies where these sometimes awful clothes to draw comments . Any comments at all will suffice. it wil explain why you would come out showing unmentionables, etc and pose for a red carpet shot. The organizers just they dull themselves. Don’t they select pictures they want seen? some editing should take place abeg. I stopped half way…. I shall shut up

  • Monique June 4, 2012 at 5:07 pm
