When you grow up with a Grammy Award-winning grandfather and tour with him (not just to catch trips but are part of the band), it’s hard to not imagine that Babatunde Olatunji and his Drums of Passion left indelible marks of insight and understanding on Ayo Olatunji and his music.

Ayo Olatunji (more commonly referred to now as I/O) is a BNM Red Alert {click here}. He is a New York based Nigerian singer/songwriter and producer and from his lyrics to his analog/stuttered-digital Electro-tinged R&B, he’s got something here, guys.

With his first mixtape “8 Bit Love” and his most recent singles – “Strangers”, “I’d Be Lying” and “We’ll Always Be”I/O has built up a lot of buzz on the internet for his originality, depth and unique sound. Now, he has released his second mixtape , “Isolation” which is as eclectic as its name suggests. He made available for streaming and download via DJBooth.net and Analog-Dreams.com; but you can get here and right now for your listening pleasure on BN.

So, stream below and get to clicking “Download”. Enjoy!
