The Commander-In-Chief’s Inaugural Ball
The 2013 Commander-In-Chief’s Inaugural ball took place at the Washington Convention Center, DC. During his address, President Barack Obama dedicated the evening to Americans and military service members saying, “This whole party is just another way something we can never say enough: thank you.”

For their second dance (PS the first was in 2010), the first couple swayed to Jennifer Hudson‘s rendition of Al Green‘s “Let’s Stay Together”.  The night also witnessed performances by Alicia Keys, Brad Paisley, Mann and Fun.

Spotlight on Michelle Obama’s Inaugural Ball Outfit
Yes everyone wanted to hear President Barack Obama’s speech but everyone wanted to see one person in particular – The First Lady of the United States of America, Michelle Obama and what she will be wearing.

At the 2013 Inauguration ball, the 49 year old first lady looked ravishing in a custom red Jason Wu gown. Keeping the name of the designer she will wear “top secret” till the D-Day, the first lady decided to go for Jason Wu once again – the designer who created her one-shoulder white floor length dress for the 2009 Inauguration ball.

She accessorized the chiffon velvet dress with a pair of Jimmy Choo heels and custom Kimberly McDonald custom jewels. Her bangs completed the look.
