    Wanachukwu my drling!!!
You can do no harm in my eyes all those asking you to go and diet should also recommend some fattening room for the likes of Agbani et al.
    One man’s meat………………..
As long as you are healthy and confident in your skin, all is well.
All the cyber bullying for plus sized women will return back to sender.

    • Sandra

      September 11, 2013 at 12:24 pm

I am usually not one to go around calling out people with weight problems. However, I am also not a fan of being deceitful. Saying Wana is healthy is being deceitful because we can clearly see that it isn’t the case. Yes she is a confident and amazing person but healthy-NO.

      N. B: I don’t see you talking about cyber bullying when it’s time to call out people that are bleaching their skin off. In the same manner skin bleaching is dangerous to the health (can cause things like extreme skin cancer) is the same way eating unhealthy and being moderately obese is dangerous to the health.

      September 11, 2013 at 4:19 pm

Thank you for your considered comment. The crux of the matter is in the last sentence of your comment. You cannot compare skin bleaching to weight issues. Some folks are just genetically disposed to over weight and need to work extra hard to keep it off and stay healthy. Same cannot be said about bleaching. You and i know folks who are permanently on one diet or the other and are permanent gym members yet the weight no gree go. Yet some of us,swear by junk food, have never visited a gym in our lives and the only exercise we know is trekking, yet have maintained the same weight in a decade. Assuming every moderately obese person as being inactive and unserious about the issue is an erroneous view. Wana’s concerted efforts to lose weight are as documented as her plenty articles on the web,yet bullies attempt to call her out at every turn.
      You see the difference?

Sandra, did u put her internal organs under a microscope b4 coming to ur ‘non-deceitful’ conclusion… My opinion is dat she’s definitely fat and judging by statistic yes she needs to watch it, but I’m clueless bout the state of her health, so its wiser to not comment than pass my uninformed view as truth. I always use my mama n her sis in dis issue…my aunt’s like wana if not bigger n in her 60s, my mama’s much younger n waaay trimmer n a tireless health n fitness crusader …statistically my aunt should probably be dead, yet na my mama de go hospital yearly on top body/health issues, while my aunt since I sabi am till now na smooth sailing… Plsss its okay not to know and accept it, but making assumptions sound like truth only makes an ass out of u.

EIdak… Tell it like it is. Telling her to go on
A diet is not bullying, it’s a reality.
She’s gorgeous, and stunning no doubt
But due to the illness associated with being
On a “bigger side” it’s not a bad thing.
The same way there are illnesses associated
With being overly skinny and bony. There should
Be a moderation in everything we do.
On another note, his MAC foundation
Is nothing to write home about lol

Here’s the thing… what makes it anybody’s place, let alone a perfect stranger, to tell her what they think she should look like? I’m sure you too have things that are not perfect about you in ‘society’s’ or ‘doctor’s’ eyes. So all y’all out there claiming to be giving ‘strangers’ advise ‘out of love’, you might wanna keep it to yourself.

  15. Talk true

    September 10, 2013 at 9:27 am

Idak, biko stop deceiving the girl abeg. There’s nothing wrong with living a healthy lifestyle and being at the extreme ends of the spectrum (whether fat, like wana or skinny, like Agbani) is unhealthy.
If the weight-challenged person slumps dead tomorrow from heart sickness or bulimia you will start blaming the devil when you could have spoken up about it…..TALK TRUE FOR ONCE IN YA LIFE

    • Idak

      September 10, 2013 at 12:10 pm

So until whatever she is doing to reduce her weight pays off,she should go and hide in a corner, abi?
She should put her life on pause while losing enough weight to satisfy complete strangers?

baba, considering your comment, you’re the one with a massive insecurity problem …someone that fat can drop dead on the spot..and its not being derogatory..its reality !…you should try loosing some weight yourself, twill help your brain function better than it is now.
FYI..Wana is a pretty girl…and that size certainly does not do her any justice…
