Do people actually double check themselves at the mirror before leaving their homes?
It looked they were all heading to a strip club 🙁

Ah girl, you lie big time!!! For the most part, they looked very nice and unique. In Naija, every one has the same look, no variety. But not so here, there was a lot to look at and appreciate. So stop lying!

Obviously 99% of those women don’t, very disgraceful that a
lot of women think that exposing their bodies will get the right
      attention!!!

Almost all of them tried to dress their part. I so much loved that yellow ankara dress, the one that had both a front view and back view. That mama got my vote!

I can’t understand how you can post such a comment @me. Have you created anything much more a human being before. Don’t call people ugly it shows a lack of respect for your fellow Africans. Bella you need to pay attention to the kind of comments you allow cus it’s not the first time people have said the most insensitive and insulting thing about Ghanaians. Smh. Some of them tried however. Nothing over the top.

I like their fashion sense. Definitely not something Nigerians are used to. Fake hair and over processed skin was toned down and there was a lot of diversity in the styles and use of prints.

      October 18, 2013 at 6:10 pm

U remind me alot of this deranged character on youtube that go around verbally attacking nigerians on naija and ghanaian music videos. Funny i think her initials are “aa” too….”akosa…something”. Must u throw naija under the bus to compliment ghanaians? Y not give ur compliments and keep it moving? Prancing around this thread posting incessantly about naija vs. ghana will not change a damn thing about how naija people feel, live or poop….hope u know that.

    • Lola

      October 18, 2013 at 3:51 pm

You guys really need to chill and stop making everything a Nigerian verses Ghana thing. Not everyone there was Ghanaian , Nigerians were even there ( Muna ) and their was white and Chinese people their . Meaning that the comment that the person made wasn’t directed to just Ghanaians and it’s not only Nigerians that comment on Bella naija by the way

nigerians we like to boast. this red carpet is better than
60% of the red carpets in nigeria. and i don’t think ghanaians are
uglier than us, if we were to compare red carpet pictures, ugly
people are a lot on nigerian red carpets than her. they are dark,
yes, but their skin tone does not take away from their beauty. this
    is a good red carpet!

Day 1 was far better than this, maybe becos it was d
opening of the fashion and design week, everybody wanted to look
best. Day 2 crowd is more like a Lagos crowd to be honest. When I
say Lagos crowd, I mean the decent, classy, tastefully sexy, just
normal, tacky, trashy and indecent. Moreover, all those attacking
themselves over which country is better in dressing (Ghanaian vs
Nigerian), I think u should know dressing isn’t about country/tribe
is an individual thing. All those saying Nigerian women wear
Brazilian weaves, don’t Ghanaian women wear weaves too? At least
98% of the ladies here have one weave or the other on. Abeg u
people should stop this unnecessary comparism.

    • Easy Now

      October 18, 2013 at 9:41 pm

Sorry like about 89% have some weave or the other on, at
least I could see some naturals too.

wow, i like the african print series of this post. the
white lady in the yellow ankara rocked it well though the back part
looks a but questionable. lol to the “make it stop” section. I like
most of the styles. the bobby fashion does look inappropriate.
