Nice one Amarachi! I would also like you not to be too distracted in your studies. Stay blessed!

      NA WA FOR UNA OH!!!
Yes, she will be “distracted in her studies” and rightfully so! You think being an artist is a joke that she can do the regular school thing??? Her parents will be making choices for her if music is her priority, hopefully it will involve her completing her secondary education but please stop with the bullshit about distraction. She WILL be distracted!

What is the sense in this now? Can we honestly say that among every talent that contested for the show amarachi is the best? We always allow sentiments to cloud our senses. Too bad

which kain adult education classroom be dis? She’s a confident 8yr old that’s for sure, don’t know if she’s phenomenally talented. I think the prize money would be better used for her to learn musical instruments and vocal training till she’s older.

Sweetim, I am not hating or being cruel . I am merely an observer.

Like someone said she is a confident 8 year old but I honestly do think that more deserving individual(s) were denied on the basis of silly sentiments which Sally stated and I agreed.

And yes, i still dey find the dance just in case you help see am 🙂

Wow! Too cute! Love her attitude ..this gal even looks good and performed better in this video than some so called adult music artistes…not sure about her style tho but then it’s her first maybe her folks will learn from this that less is more.

  17. amar

    December 3, 2013 at 2:48 pm

please is this a joke so what you are telling me that this is the best Nigeria has to offer? I cant believe this, is this what you call talent? hehehh sorry to burst your bubble but If this is talent then Nigeria is talentless … and you wonder why Nigeria is sooo looked down on by other countries. When Nigerian learn to be honest about things and stop lying and trying to sugar coat things then maybe there will be progress in that country. Do you really think that someone like Simon Cowell would have signed her up on his record label ……… exactly

    • Phatgilzbwinning

      December 3, 2013 at 4:08 pm

Wow, u really should be ashamed of ureself for insinuating that this little girl has no talent. I wanna see u move like her, better yet, birth your own babies that are so full of talent , so we can judge them. GTFOH with that negative attitude. Sore losers are the problem with Nigeria….this lil mama has own, clap for her and keep it moving. Do not insult her effort. Amarachi, I was entertained sweetie, and you sure can dance!

  18. sally

    December 3, 2013 at 2:55 pm

,@ewa confidence and attitude shouldn’t be mistaken for talent pls! She is just a confident yound girl but for talent am sorry to say that I can’t find any, sha can. Or may do better in actting but dance is not for her and its certainly wasn’t enuf to win that show! And I repeat of all the bunch of talent I saw on that show chindinma didn’t deserve to win it keeping sentiments aside.

    December 3, 2013 at 3:15 pm

Very lovely and confident young girl. She sure can dance but the whole song is basically all about saying “Amarachi dance” and “my people ke kwanu”. Wish her the best.

    December 3, 2013 at 3:22 pm

Good video… great kid… greater dance skills. only 8 years old fa! you are amazing, ur facial expression is sooo on point & u dont evn act. i mean ur a beta musician than tonto. this teaches me to harness ma future child’s talent on time.

Guess Nigeria is going back to that child star talent stage just like benita & chichi of Africa. Good one gal. 😉

    December 3, 2013 at 3:41 pm

    December 3, 2013 at 5:05 pm

Well so far its a distraction from our kids singing unproductve songs etc….

  26. amar

    December 3, 2013 at 6:04 pm

this is appalling that people would support this!!! the song is overly explicit for a child and is extremely explicit especially the dancing. These are the same dance step adults are exhibiting in the clubs and parties and here is an 8yr old doing the same thing and you glorify this. If I ever catch my 8y old dancing in such a manner I will have a 1 to 1 with her. Later when child rape increase people will wonder why… expose children to such a mature and explicit environment and you will have predators watching them to ….. God knows what this world is coming to….

    December 3, 2013 at 6:12 pm

Anyone hating on this video plssssssss send Bella Naija your 8 year old self and let’s compare. Sure you were one of those kids that can’t even memorise a poem and recite it without rolling your eyes at the ceiling. Pls appreciate talent when you see it. Yes she’s young, she will go to school but biko no drink that panadol for her parents…”e no concrn u”. Amarachi biko jisike nwa oma,… I luv ur video and your hair. keep shining.

future miley cyrus. it looks weird for a girl at this age to do a dance video. she should be sining nursery rhymes. weird!!!

  31. Dolapo

    December 3, 2013 at 10:40 pm

Wait!!!!! Ban probably meant to type ‘Nigeria’s got talent for kids’. I really had high expectations for this video when I read the short intro that she won a freaking reality show. Like I thought, she must have demonstrated tremendous talent to beat everyone. Then again, this video is basically your average Nigerian MV with nothing but overused dance steps. When the grown ass didn’t set the bar high, what did you expect from an 8year old? Who was she supposed to look up to? *kukeres away*

    She can dance sha

  33. NNENNE

    December 4, 2013 at 2:28 am

All the best girl! I have issues with child stars. My hope is that the parents are on their feet if they are encouraging to start this now. She needs to stay focused education wise and be guarded against sexual predators/pedophiles. Naija is a place where things happen silently.

  34. ao

    December 4, 2013 at 2:45 am

Amarachi has organic TALENT!!! She has that “it” factor that other organically talented musicians have such as Flavour. Beyonce started out in the music biz as a chid and steadily honed her skills. Today she is at the top of her game. Amarachi can do the same. The level of confidence and poise that she has is uncommon for her age group. Sheis is truely an embodiment of her name. I wish Amarachi the very best and pray that her parents support her endeavors while protecting her from the vices found in the entertainment industry.

  35. mama mia!!!

    December 4, 2013 at 6:27 am

Na wa o for you peeps, yet most of you whipped your hair to jaden smiths track. Talk about double standards. She is an entertainer not a singer. The music industry is filled with such nowadays. Y complain noe? Annoying bunch kowai!!!

  36. Dubem

    December 4, 2013 at 6:42 am

Ha ha. The quality of the video is really good. Better than skelewu, I can actually see the dancers dancing.

R u serious? d whole video was full of dance moves.

  39. Modella

    December 4, 2013 at 3:40 pm

Wish her luck, but she was clearly not the best in that show…sentiment aside!

  40. Amarachi

    December 4, 2013 at 3:45 pm

She can’t dance Joor…she is confident no doubt but probably she will be better in acting or tv presenting but music fa fa foul…that was how dey wanted to force Willow Smith and she has disappeared now…let’s put sentiments aside dis is disappointing for the best talent in Nigeria

  41. lee

    December 4, 2013 at 9:53 pm

I fell in love d first day i saw dis video… i mean, she is only 8, in nigerian environment where children’s talents are not discovered and even those that discover theirs are discouraged by parents or society… she just has it abeg… If developed, she is a mega star… *drops mic*

  42. Deee

    December 4, 2013 at 11:01 pm

Very cute girl and nice cute video, as for the person talking about child rape you are sick if you think the way a child dresses or dances justifies such! There is nothing sexual about her dance steps and if you look at this little child and think such thoughts you are truly sick!

  43. Mimi

    December 17, 2013 at 5:54 pm

So is she a dancer or musician? I’m not hip to Naija’s got
talent etc Buttttt I’m honestly looking for the “talent”. It’s a
fun video, but if she’s a singer, why not do something that really
shows off her voice? Autotune is lazy at times and can mask whether
a person can really sing. If she can dance, then focus on her doing
really interesting routines. Other than that, I would ask what the
point of this video is. Just to be seen… …………
