Nigeria has the support of France.

French President François Hollande was invited by President Jonathan for the centenary celebration taking place today Thursday 27th February at the National Stadium in the capital city Abuja.

At the security conference in Abuja, Hollande revealed that “Your struggle is also our struggle” when speaking on the battle against Islamic group Boko Haram.

“We will always stand ready not only to provide our political support but our help every time you need it because the struggle against terrorism is also the struggle for democracy.” he further said.

That’s good and all..I just hope they don’t give the government a dime; please train the soldiers on your own terms and funds monitored strictly by the French only

BY the time he is done with the yearly training a lot of innocent youths must have died more. Why wasting money training instead taking drastic action. Common!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Think Presidentssssssss

Excusez-moi monsieur, what are the conditions? I’m always very cynical of French aid. They never do anything for free. Ask the Ivorians.

Thank you o nala. Just like we dont want their gay rights. We also don’t want their training. Let us use knives and sticks to fight them, or have out bomb squad walk up to a bomb and try to diffuse it only to get blown to pieces.

OH, READING THE COMMENTS AND ITS FUNNY THAT MANY ARE APPLAUDING THE GESTURE, IT’S A GOOD ONE ACTUALLY, WE SHOULD BE HAPPY! – TYPICAL NIGERIAN MINDSET, WE LOVE FREEBIES!

WE LIKE TO TAKE SOME BUT REJECT SOME, IF THIS PRES HAD SAID THEY WOULD CUT AID IF THE GOVT DIDNT REPEAL THE ANTI-GAY LAW, I BET Y’ALL WOULD BE SINGING A DIFF SONG, SAYING ALL SORTA BS ABOUT HOW THE WEST IS EVIL CONTROLLED AND HOW THEY SHOULD MIND THIER BUSINESS.(hypocrites)
YOU SEE WHY THEY CAN’T MIND THIER BIZ?

and no one should preach to me about how we have our head and should take only the good and not the bad! Shame shame shame… If we had any pride at all our nation still won’t be where it is today. So we can suck it all anyway!

    Poor Nigeria Poor You!
If we get these “gifts” from them all the time, tell me why they won’t feel the need to put their mouth in our maters? We definitely need help in many areas anyway… We keep failing ourself!

I won’t to see you grow Nigeria, I want to see you better!

    Amen.

We need to tackle the problem at its root, instead of cutting off the branches!
This is not the way to go.
