she looks so old with the picture on red, but younger and prettier in the video with less makeup.

She tried sha. its nice that she is a christian and not ashamed of her faith. thumbs up.

but….. the video was kinda long and was beginning to get boring. learn to edit and learn know to know what next to say quickly, cos she kinda looked confused at some parts.

    anyways well done. nice work.

Oh pls Shut it tight Jumai Shaba A.K.A “Mother Mary”. I have been in contact with you before and you definitely did not practise what you are on here preaching. Don’t come on here all holier than though chatting humility and stuff. Actions speak louder than words doll….

Good first attempt…great message. She’s preety and speaks well. Can you do your vlog in a quiet atmosphere next time? Too much distraction in the background. Meanwhile BN has Ngee released another show?

I think this is a great thing. It’s easy to say negative things, but the truth is you don’t see a lot of young people out here these days using social media to spread the word as it’s not the “popular” thing to do. Keep it up Jumai, I will def be checking out the Psalms you mentioned, and future videos as well.

Yes ma’am & I cosign on what you said. Really enjoyed it (although I balked initially when I saw it was 15mins long… product of the microwave generation that I’m slowly becoming…)

Good first effort, Jumai, will be checking on those psalms as well and the message regarding humility in worship particularly struck me (as a worship leader who yearns for growth). Keep it coming “sisteh” & may the Spirit of God inspire the right kind of wisdom.

This one is obviousky jealous of Toke’s success. She is apparently without a steady gig these days. I also knew u as a moslem Jumai. When did u change? Maybe u should have started with that as a concept. It would have given the vlog a strategic angle….. Ok oh bring on the Vloggers…. toke see naaaa what uv started….

Is that an insult or what? Who in their right senses will want to be like toke? Pls listen to the vlog or pass. Don’t insult the girl if you don’t like her. A lot of new generation kids need to hear what she said on this vlog. Hiss

Excellent Jum girl, this is sooo refreshing after Toke’s blog that glorifies fornication and sleeping with men before marriage. Toke is alright, but I prefer Jumai, she is pure Nigerian and fresh, no faking. When I tune into Nigerian media, I want to hear the correct Nigerian accent, this tells me that I am home, not all these importations and fakeness. When I am in the US or UK, and I hear them speak then I know I am in their country, and it is appropriate, but when I come to my own homeland I want to hear the intonations of my people. I love the way Nigerians speak. The Nigerian media should aspire to hire more people that speak with well pronounced Nigerian accents, not all these Jand (UK) and Yankee Doodle (US) accents, both fake and real, which are crowding the Nigerian airwaves.
I wish you well Jumai, you started well; put God first and the sky is the limit.

  22. Hey

    February 18, 2014 at 7:26 pm

I love the Nigerian accent! I don’t know why some Nigerians are shy of it. Thing us whenever I’m outside of Nigeria I always get compliments about my Accent.

    A few tips for jumai.

The video is too long, it becomes monotonous and boring if it’s more than 10mins, if you can do less even better.

A better environment so the message is clear without distractions

More more more positivity. Awesome topic. awesome way to start with The Lord’s Prayer,.

Do not be discouraged by the negative comments. I don’t know you personally buy if people feel you do not portray the values you speak of, it’s up to you to change that perception. 2014 really is a year of breakthroughs for us all IJN, if this is a new business for you, take the feedback from viewers to improve on yourself.

In a society that thrives on gossip, pull-her-Down syndrome, hatred and scandals, this is a breath of fresh air for me.
