“The picture tells a linear story”

His eyes remain closed to the suffering of his people.
His mouth remains open to continously eat the fruit of the land.
His hand remains closed as it is an ineffective tool for action.

    Mr. President. Please.Take.Visible.Action.Now.

No more press statement, no media broadcast, everything is now on twitter. How apt, seeing as we have no power to watch tv or listen to radio.

Jonathan go to hell and burn to ashes. So because you and your family are protected your taking this BH thing as a joke. Don’t forget that the sun shines, wind blows and the rain falls equally on both the poor and the rich. All you naija politicians your day is not too far, you people have stolen so much, until you are on the verge of stealing Nigeria out of existence. If you people had given us roads, health, jobs, etc BH would not have happened. Why are there no terrorists bombing Saudi Arabia, after all the saudi royals have western education. There are no terrorists there because saudi arabia is a prosperous country, their citizens are too busy eating themselves to death, (one of the highest rates of obesity, due to excess enjoyment) to carry gun against the state. u FOOLS HAVE CREATED THE EXACT OPPOSITE SITUATION IN NIGERIA, OUR PEOPLE ARE HUNGRY, JOBLESS AND HELPLESS THAT

    Our daughters have become Ashawo
Our sons are kidnappers, armed robbers, ritualist, yahoo yahoo, militants and oil bunkerers.
and as if that is not enough
    BOKO HARAMISTS!

Nigeria the most populous country in Africa..with all its human capital….and he is just now summoning his kangaroo chiefs…I am truly convinced that it is only by the grace of God that we still remain a somewhat intact nation!!

it still baffles me that GEJ has not visited any of these affected states since the insurgency started…Are we sure this man really gives a damn or hoot about the country?

JEG alone cannot fight terrorism. Can’t imagine how so many girls were taken and no one saw anything.
Every one in Nigeria has a role to play . Let’s leave bribery and do our jobs well. Show petroitism in all that you do, whether you are police officer at a check point or a public servant in the office.
It does appear like this terrorism is another form of coup deta. Yes.Call a spade a spade. Even if Jonathan is the worst president, support him, then vote him out. Calling him to step down is a coup deta. If that happens, then it will continue in the future. This is TOTALLY INSANE.

      @NNENNE
Coup d’etat: “a sudden violent or illegal seizure of government”

Biko calling on him to step down is NOT a coup d’etat. It is a very valid process of any sustainable democracy.

As for your statement “even if Jonathan is the worst president, support him…” …erm…where does one even start?

@ NNENNE..you guys have started these tribal bigotries again..why do we always allow sentiments to clout our senses of reasoning?…na wa oooo…

It is now politics of, ” na our own son, so we must support am” ..even if the whole country goes into ruins..I just tire for these supporters of GEJ…It really shows how much we still need to re-orientate the populace on how to reason straight..But the job at hand first, is getting the head off the body before it spreads its rottenness to the whole body …# JONATHAN MUST GO # whether una like am or not…. #GEJ MUST GO#

NNENNE abeg try and delete your comment..I wonder if you’d still be vomitting this nonsense about supporting this man if you’d lost any loved one in this madness!….If he had any sense he would step down and go on a self imposed exile! Look at the mess he has turned this country into!

Where does this tribal bigotry come from?
The last time I checked Jonathan is from Rivers or Bayelsa, I do not come from these places.
I do not know Jonathan, have not gained anything from him and in fact do not need him or any ill gotten wealth from Nigeria. I comment objectively from a special place in my heart, out of love my dear country.
When Jonathan is terrorized into stepping down from the office of presidency what do you call that? This insurgency started since he came into office.
All around the world there has never been a president that got 100% vote to be in office. Whenever someone is voted into office, even if you did not vote them in, you work/support them for the interest of your country. When they finish their term and it is time to vote again, then you change your vote. You do not use terror to push people out of office. Mind you, if it starts with Jonathan, it will not end with him. Mark my words.
What about the governors of theses states, local government chairmen, assembly men…? What roles do they play?
It always amazes me when Nigerians compare the developed countries to our country. They usually pick the good but will always forget what ordinary people in these countries contribute to their society.
For those wondering if I have lost people in this mayhem be informed that this kind of violence did not start today. Problem is that Nigerians do not read history. Do you all know how many intellectuals my family lost in the 60s? How about abandoned property? How about the killings in between? Those are not human beings, right? We may pretend to forget but history is not kind and will always be there.
When this insurgency started did an average Nigerian say or do anything? Did we react to kidnapping? Yet, you all took to the streets to protest for petrol subsidy.

By the end of day, we all are Nigerians. Lets do what is to the best interest our one country .
Another season of election is approaching. Nigeria has many illustrious sons and daughters. Could the powers that be, bring out the right people to run for elections? We are tired of same old, same old people! THAT IS WHERE THE CHANGE SHOULD START.
