On his Christian radio talk show program – Trunews, Rick Wiles made a bold statement.

He compared the deadly Ebola virus to a cleansing plague. “Ebola could solve America’s problems with atheism, homosexuality, sexual promiscuity, pornography and abortion”, he said.

Wiles also claims that President Barack Obama may intentionally spread the disease so that he can have power to declare martial law. “It may be the great attitude adjustment that I believe is coming.”

He continues by saying, “If Ebola becomes a global plague, you better make sure the blood of Jesus is upon you, you better make sure you have been marked by the angels so that you are protected by God. If not, you may be a candidate to meet the Grim Reaper.”

Wiles isn’t the first to compare the virus to a plague. If you recall, BN brought you the story that Liberian religious leaders say the virus is a plague sent by God to stop homosexuality in the country.

Please on whose Authority are all these Pastors passing such judgement and drawing conclusions. Is this a true revelation from God? Lets not sugar coat and make some sinful acts seem bad in the eyes of God than others.
God loves humanity explaining why we are alive. He knows there is Ebola and has allowed it for reasons known only to HIM, it does not mean God caused this virus. There is killing in the world all in the name of politics, business, diplomacy etc. There is cheating the poor, lies telling, hatred, jealousy to name a few.
Why is Homosexuality and the others so different. Statements like this raise so much controversies. I am not perfect, neither do i know how the inspiration of this message came about, but sin is sin so if someone has to give the reason behind a plague then all sins should be accounted for not a chosen few

Okay- these American Christian extremists need to stop STOP STOP speaking for Christians! Yes, homosexuality is wrong and will probably be the biggest contributor to the crippling of this age, but how can a self-professed Christian say that Ebola virus is targeted at a particular group of people? God hates their sin with a passion, but He loves their souls even more! Christ died for these folks.
And we wonder why the trend is spreading in our world-its because we hate and hide behind religion instead of loving and showing them the truth of grace. Christianity is not a religion. Christ came to get rid of all that judgement and guilt and shame.
I’m not saying God is not pissed at us and the way we’ve handled things for the last two thousand something years since Christ came. What I’m saying is, whatever happened to being the light of the world? How will they know if we don’t show them instead of judging them and using a deadly virus as propaganda to SCARE them into repentance?

  5. What is this 1 saying??? Fact is majority of the victims are old, illiterate, careless people. If there’s one thing I know about gays, its that they’re usually neat & careful, so If he’s tryna say the virus could wipe out the rest of us & let d gays rule, I might agree. Otherwise, what a ditz!

Falacious zealots in the name of a god, because that is not inspired by my God.. So Christians can behave anyhow they like because they have the mark of God on them and cannot die from Ebola?

    This man is clearly unhinged.

Many of you people say I’m crazy or an angry bitter troll or whatever but I speak the truth and it is bitter, any body who believe in religion has a mental disease called stupidity.

Homosexuality is not a learned behaviour but homophobia is,you Christians are preaching hate, this religious bigots just want to put more fear and hate and anger into the heart of ignorant minded people, the 9/11 attacks you wicked Christians said it was the gays that caused it, the boston marathon bombing the same thing, why? The truth is whether you like it or not gay people will continue to progress and excel and have rights and more rights,

Christianity does not preach hate towards homosexuals. Christians do. Blame the ignorant Christians and not the religion that preaches love.

If God wants to give the time of day to these abortionists and homosexuals he doesnt need ebola to do it. They said AIDS was as a result of homosexuality and that God was using it as a punishment, so what about the innocent non fornicating christians that have contacted HIV??? things like this i just dunno what to think about them……

This Bruno is the most stupid individual i may come across in Life. Always in a quest for cheap popularity on various topics all in a bid to draw attention.
To say i hate such a person is better, i am actually indifferent about such damaged minds who resort to insulting when they ought to close their gutters.
