These Governors need to invest greatly in our health care system; build good hospitals, research labs and bring the doctors in the diaspora back home. We have so much money, resources but we are not utilizing them at all. So sad!

Infection Control lies within our hands.
Last time I checked not all hospitals in Nigeria has a functioning Infection Control department, even government ran hospitals.
The guideline should be that all hospitals have one…functional. All direct care givers should have continuous education units in infection control completed within a certain time frame, like annually. Mr Health minister, can you hear me?

I hope say na waterless alcohol-based hand sanitizer they are using. If not they are wasting their time and will be better off keeping their hands to themselves. I am not in naija but I truly hope the health minister/commissioner is being proactive about educating people on ebola – prevention and what to do. Education is the key to curbing this outbreak in my opinion — but then again even the educated ones are being ignorant/selfish (example: runaway nurse) ! #Sigh

The only thing government is proactive about is sharing money. I pity that country

Do you know how ineffective sanitizer is to bacteria? Let alone a VIRUS that currently has no cure. However, I do appreciate his effort.

How won’t they laugh…..Afterall nothing affects them and their fam. They use our money to fly their family for better health care outside the country, No shame at all. Your house is dirty, rather than clean it, you run away to someone else’s clean house.
