New Music: M.I Debuts “King James”

Here’s some good news for fans of Nigerian Hip Hop artist M.I. He’s back!

Mr. Incredible has been away from the music scene for awhile, but now he returns with a new single titled, “King James,” an infectious hip hop track infused with elements of Reggae.

“They Call me King James, the Lebron of Verses,” he says. Yep, we definitely missed his lyrical dexterity.

Listen to King James here:

#Dancing….My personal favorite..the rapper that owns my heart is back. I’m so excited.
awesome lyrics and beat (as usual).

“Get out my throne, get out my throne…wait, no one is sitting there.
I understand: Nobody rapping can sit on my chair..yea!’

didn’t bother listening. M.I. is mediocre. he gave his best in his first album and prior to that, earlier mixed tapes. He ain’t for real and definitely not Naija’s hip hop messiah

Dis guy should take a seat. Hip hop has moved past self-praise rap verses. That was then. Old school rap. You belong to the Canibus era bro. Ain’t nobody got time for dat. Even JayZ has since moved on.

Love all the promo stuff, the message of service, the devotion to art, and can’t wait for the content that will sure come with the full album. This first track is very rap and I’m no connoisseur.

Hmmmmmm I’m not a hater! Great lyrics. But there is just something about it that doesn’t catch with me.

i was feeling it in the beginning… got cold though. did not like the verse, the puns as usual, MI delivered on those. loved the reference to Bees especially. other than that, the puns could have been in a better rap. definitely not MI’s best work and i think true MI fans will see that.
