SMH,nigerian pastors are now rock stars, this is something Ke$ha or even britney spears will do, counting their following, shameful, just shameful.

I was wondering how far down i’d have to scroll before i found your name with some comment… turns out not too far.. truth is if you feel the need to keep shouting something out… you’re no longer trying to convince others… you’re trying to convince yourself

I have to hand it to you bruno. You are quite the troll. Damn dude (or chick or haemaphrodite or whatever cross breed between these types you may be)!!! You must be an associate professor in trolling. To everybody else that sees this or ever sees a post from this spineless, faceless piece of butt wipe, in the words of internet erudites, DON’T FEED THE TROLLS

      Mr bruno!

      Ahn ahn!

I personally believe the point of him posting that picture on his FB page is to affirm the fact that He is the one actually writing (or at least thinking) of the prayers he posts on a daily? basis.

I personally do not follow the page (I still think that it is his secretary or someone paid to do publicity/ who does it for free, that posts those prayers). My mind hasn’t been changed.

People need something to believe in.

When their government has failed them, when their economy is not good, and there is fear everywhere, they need to trust in something.

Adeboye, Oyedepo, and co. have been able to provide this for them.

You as an atheist want to be left alone, what is your own business if a “Man of God” thanks his people for following him?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with “counting your following”

Do you have a twitter? FB? or even Vine? So do you count your followers?

Humans have always counted things as a measure of success.. Friends, kids, wealth, possessions, etc.

For this one, Bruno. i will disagree with you. Go and sit down 🙂

Criminals making billions off gullible Easterners. The Eastern parts of Nigeria is the only area where you have 99% christian faithfuls. The North is predonimantly moslems while Yorubaland is over 60% moslems thus the race to establish multiple outlets in the Eastern region.
And our prople keep churning out money to satisfy the filthy life style of decietful Enoch Adeboye, Oyedepo, and the rest if them.
I claim that anyday our people realise yhe economic slavery they have put themselves in and their entire region, Yoruba churches would fall, no doubt about that.
As I have said before, any Biafran who goes to a Yoruba church has a brain the size of a pea. Such a person is the epitome of ignorance. To nit-pick a litlle bit, ask yourself how much of your own people-Easterners, that are the leaders -pastors and bishops of such churches. Why do they make sure you are lorded over by a Yoruba man? Simple. They don’t trust you. But they preach ‘Jesus Christ’ to you.
I have gotten my family including my siblings and their families too, to abandone those criminals.
You can do so too, my people. You are the light of the world. You don have to give a Yoruba man access to your bank account to tell you that. The prayer in Adeboye’s post above is said for tou eaxh day by your parents and loved ones. Aseboye’s version is not special.
Stop going to those ‘churches’ and please stop your family members too. You can do it. It is an economic slavery.

      Aragon,

From your post, it seems it you’re very tribalistic! Are you going to church to serve the pastor or GOD? And what do you mean by ‘Yoruba church’?
In my opinion, a church that serves The Living God and believes and practices the doctrines of the Bible, whether it was started by a Benin, Hausa, Ibo, Tiv or Yoruba native, is good for me. And just so you know, a lot of non-Yoruba’s hold sway in these ‘Yoruba churches’ you mention. You say they put your people through economic slavery, how? In short, what you’re saying is that other tribes that attend these churches are not well-to-do as it is the Ibos that ‘fund’ the churches, right? That is a very preposterous assumption!
From your comments, you seem very educated but its such a pity you don’t educate and build your mentality. It is a shame! (no offense) Must we always use tribal sentiments to defend everything? Nigeria will never move forward if we keep thinking with such mentality. Gosh!

Then again, you say ‘any Biafran’ implying you consider yourself non-Nigerian? Personally, I think that’s just wrong. IMO, since the Ibos are very much a part of Nigeria, it is not healthy to keep calling yourselves that. I think such practice only leads to further hatred and tribal disintegration amongst ourselves.

Finally, as nanciejul replied you, please provide evidence that ‘your people keep satisfying the filthy lifestyle’ of the aforementioned pastor. I will like to be enlightened!

I am a christian and born again but what do i think of this? Absolutely unnecessary.

We should all read Angelica’s Zambrano’s revelation on God’s heartache caused by the Church.
    christiscoming777.com/2014/01/20/angelica-zambranos-3rd-testimony-of-heaven-and-hell/

We have misplaced our priorities and the devil is really having a field day.

Christians, we need serious Revival. Ask yourself, are we practising the same Christianity Peter, and the other apostles suffered for?

I know someone would drop a comment calling me ‘hypocrite’ or ‘judgmental’. I understand I am not perfect myself, but as Christians, what are we portraying to unbelievers?
