*Cakling hard* Can somebody tell me how one whose height is under 5’10, can aim at a runway career? Elite Naija is giving them false hopes

5’8 is normally the bare minimum though but exceptions are made if they have the face: Kate Moss, Jagger girls (all 5’6/7 though listed at 5’8 by their agencies) & others

Not trying to knock anyone’s hustle please, but Isn’t 14 a bit too young to be competing in a beauty pageant? Or is that an acceptable age in the modeling world?

Beauty pageant is completely different from modelling. 14/15 is actually the age most top class models started. Tyra Banks, Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima and Naomi Campbell all started at 14/15. The only tweak is they need to have one of their parent or modelling guardian with them until they are 17.

There’s a difference btw a beauty queen and a model…models are scouted fresh, fresh faces are preferable, in the modelling industry @koenigin do you know what 5’8 is? That’s about 172cm tall and that’s not tall enough? Stop saying stuffs you’re not sure of though. These models look tall

the boys look better than the girls. why can’t the girls be allowed to leave their hair down or wear weaves for this shoot? i hate when african models shave their hair. hair is important to every woman.

i can’t believe this comment. so i guess weaves have become the norm now. The focus in these shots is the face…and that’s how it should be

To show their natural beauty, the hair has to go up…

the first girl Adesola competed at MBGN as miss Katsina. very beautiful

and no, 5”8″ is not relly tall for a model. kate moss is so well known in part becuase she’s one of the very few models under 5;9″ to have achieved any real success in the industry

  8. A lotta guys with questionable bone structure. Anyway, aunty Elohoe already knows d winner
