One should never envy anyone. The desperation out there is too much. There’s a joy in being content.

Some big girls and socialites are actually criminals in the dark. Nothing impresses me only noble characters and humility. Trying to be seen as a billionaire or a big boy or girl is actually for vapid people.

All you guys that like to envy other because of what they have…you don’t know what they do to live the lifestyle they live. We mothers need to teach our kids contentment. Cause its very obvious that we are not a content society. Ah well, another one bites the dust

A lot of Ghanaians I have come across have decade long family connections with Germany and Austria I always wonder why these 2 countries since they were colonized by the Brits. Anyway your 40 days are up this should be a lesson to all wanna be socialites all that glitters clearly aint gold.

Many of you would have been praising and ‘tapping into her blessings’ if BN had titled this post…”The Posh life of Ghanaian big girl” with photos of her in Infinite stars hotels, PJ, Rolls Royce et al.

Moral of this post…Hardwork pays, maybe not so much but it sure does. Live life one day at a time. No envy, no senseless wishes.

      November 25, 2014 at 6:16 pm

lmao! this tapping into blessing/anointing is becoming something else. I saw a girl comment something similar on my friend’s instagram page on a picture that looked like a wedding. It was a photoshoot as this friend is a model. Now this one is there tapping into a supposed wedding, maybe she’ll get the photoshoot she deserves…

Re your 1st paragraph…. You ain’t never, ever, ever lied.

And not just tapping into the blessings in that alternative scenario you described up there, but also castigating any inquiring voice who questioned the source of such blessings as a “hater oshi” (see, I don’t even know what that last word means but have seen it enough times on BN to know it can’t be good).

We have seriously messed up values, my dear sister. Messed up in a way that’s increasingly frightening.

99 days for the thief, 1 day for the owner…. that is what my mum always told me!!! but I wonder how she messed up this time though, because this cannot truly be her first time doing such. hmmmmmmmm…………….. probably was feeling too confident with herself!!!

  31. Na Today

    November 26, 2014 at 5:39 pm

As sad as it is this is nothing new and definitely not for the Gram. Naa today them dey smuggle drugs for the so called high life. How many people have an uncle or Aunty, for some mum or dad that all for the love of owanbe have smuggled drugs. Do you know how many young and oldcAfricans are languishing in foreign prisons all in the name of highlife, keeping up with the Jones’s. Unfortunately it has always been part of us nothing to do with the gram. Some family’s have name but no money but there child must go to boarding school. Some have new friends in certain circles them too must go Marbella, Venice or Skiing for summer. They too want to do and behave like silver spoon kids, what next? So many circumstances. Like so many have said Envy oh Envy! There is nothing like being content, liking and loving yourself and where you are in life. Until you accept this you will never be free but once you do you will feel light and free willing and ready to enjoy your life!
