World’s Fattest Man Who Once Weighed 444 Kg Dies at Age 44

Fattest Man in World

The fattest man in the world who once weighed 70 stone (444.521 Kg) is dead at age 44.

Prior to his death, Keith Martin had weight-loss surgery, Daily Mail reports. He had three quarters of his stomach removed, and subsequently lost half of his body weight.

However, he died of pneumonia eight months after the surgery.

Before the surgery, Martin was consuming 20,000 calories a day – 10 times what is recommended for adults.

According to reports, “he had six-egg fry-ups for breakfast then pizzas, kebabs, Chinese takeaways and Big Macs for lunch and dinner, all washed down with six pints of coffee and two litres of fizzy drinks.” There was once a period when he didn’t leave his UK home for 10 years because he was unable to walk.

“We’re still grieving. We miss him very much,” said one of his two sisters, Tina.

You are still grieving who? Or you are happy that he’s finally gone? Because why else would you feed someone with all these food and don’t expect him to die. You killed him (talking to the sisters who fed his life away with food), forget the pneumonia talk.
    Anyway, RIP to the dead.

Well if not for anything, there will always be a space where he used to physically occupy. Sad as his story was, his family must definitely be used to seeing him in a particular spot every single day.
Imagine them coming home and he is not there; one of their favourite moments will probably be coming home to tell him all about their day, funny anecdotes from work, shopping etc. His death would obviously leave a vacuum.

Sometimes this is caused by abnormal hormonal conditions and by lack of will power (to avoid overeating). Not sure what his was.

You mean 10 persons, right? His calorie requirement was off the charts. He didn’t watch his BMI.

Auntie Tina, abeg shut up dere! When he was creeping up from 100 to 200 to 300 up to 400 lbs what were you doing? You kept buying him food instead of having an intervention for him, getting a nutritionist/dietician to talk with him, administering some tough love. Please, just keep your mouth close jare! Medicine after death sentiments indeed.

Even if he died from gluttony, that does not negate the worth of his life to someone else.

“He who is without guilt cast the first stone.” Sin is sin-adultery, gluttony, murder-all is the same in God’s eyes. If you have never been obese, or used food for comfort, you really cannot relate to this young man’s challenges. I am sure his family feels the guilt and questions what else they could have done without everyone criticizing them-eternity is a long long time. Be supportive of all human beings-our prayers are with you all Keith’s family. Just think-now he can walk around without pain, hug his momma, and meet his Maker. I know you will miss him but you will also see him again. God bless you all-

Nigerians though. Can’t you guys ever read articles properly ???

It is clearly stated above that he died of pneumonia. Nothing attached to his weight. He died 8 months after a surgery that made him lose half of his weight!!!

Let his sisters grieve in peace and stop accusing them of enabling him. He died of pneumonia.
