Published

Walk-Against-Rape (15)The ladies (and some men) took a stand against rape today as they walked from GRA Ikeja, through Allen and all the way to Alausa in Lagos.

With uniformed shirts and hand held signs, female stars like Annie Idibia, Ini Edo, Kehinde Bankole, Lami Phillips and more as well as Emmanuel Ikubese (who launched a campaign against domestic violence recently) were there to add their voice to the cause.

This can actually help Annie’s image. Leave 2Fave to his nonsense and develop your own image independent of him. I hope they are partnering with other groups to make this a big effort. There is a lot of potential here: radio programmed, TV shows, films, soap episodes, to teach everyone young and old

Marching against rape is good but rape comes in different forms! When are they marching against rape of human resources? When will they march against poor education?

I would have thought the answer was obvious but apparently you need informing. It is not their job to march for you. It is the job of all Nigerians to march for the country’s collective good. So how about they march for the rape of women while you march for the rape of resources.

These ones have done their bit. Have you played your part? You can start that march too you know?

We cannot talk about rape enough. If you don’t know about the India’s Daughter documentary, you should read this. – thenakedconvos.com/on-victim-blaming-and-personal-responsibility/
