She talks about TV commercials and asks ‘Must it be sexual for it to sell?’

In her words, ‘Nowadays, with the different types of TV commercials that pop up on our screens, I wonder if it’s the ‘body’ or the product that is being advertised. Must there be an element of sex in a commercial for the product to sell? Let’s discuss!’

    Sha it depends on what you are selling.if you are advertising a headache medicine,you wont go all sexual na.it depends on what the product is and the audience you are targeting. But truth to be said, peoole are sexualizing almost everything. Look at what uncle P diddy and aunty cassie did.

    It doesn’t have to be sexual for it to sell. but….

    My take! now lets be honest. Sex sells! it really sells. truth is I work with an ad agency and we’ve been on and on about this matter. After working for a client (name withheld) who dared to use “sex” as their theme, my dear, sales skyrocketed,
    I have come to realize that the more the advertisement catches your attention and interest (like sex & violence), the more you are likely to devote energy and capacity to processing it. And most imp. the stronger the memory trace will be.

    So basically, the use of sexual images, videos, symbols will be more attention grabbing, interesting and memorable.

    Its worth the try!
