LOL! Too Cute… Little Girl Inscribes “I Love My Dad” on Father’s Car with Screwdriver

What would you do if your child did this to your car?

This little girl decided to show just how much she loved her dad on Father’s Day. And so she inscribed “I Love My Dad” on her father’s car using a screwdriver.

The photo has since gone viral.

Happy Father's Day BellaNaijaLOL 🙂

My little sister and her best friend did this when they were 4. Proudly called the family to come see their ABCs scrawled on the side of my father’s car. He just looked at the car, looked at their smiling faces so full of pride, laughed, said “great job” and went back inside. He resprayed the car and never complained. My God bless him for us in heaven. Awesome father.

i will appreciate her, and tell her next time she should use a paper and crayon.
i will then go ahead and paint my car.

Not cute. Why a screwdriver? Knowing it will cause some damage. It’s like showing love and pain at the same time. The girl should know better to stick to her crayons or watercolor.

My dear repainting your car in Nigeria is an easy task and can actually be inexpensive. Hey in the USA this is devastating. repainting your car devalues your car and it is very expensive this can set you back about $2000 to 3000. no, joke.and the value of your car is key here for when you want to sell it back or exchange for a new model. and again your car insurance will increase you payment when you repaint. so if this happened in Nigeria the damage is minimal but in the USA this is awful

I will hug her, and say ‘Awww…thanks Darling, I love you too’. Then my voice and my face will so change, she will almost pee in her pants: ‘But if you ever, ever, write on ANY car again, i will KILL you.’ Then i will go back to normal ‘I really love you too. Let’s get some ice cream’.

Its not the end of the world… go and paint over it. At least your child loves you. Some of us couldn’t even wish our LIVING fathers a happy father’s day. #thinkbeforeyoujudge

Anyway… this reminds me of the below story especially to those threatening to beat the child for showing love.

While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked up a stone and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the child’s hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures.

When the child saw his father….. with painful eyes he asked, ‘Dad when will my fingers grow back?’

The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times. Devastated by his own actions…. sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches; the child had written ‘LOVE YOU DAD’.

The next day that man committed suicide…. Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life….. Things are to be used and people are to be loved, But the problem in today’s world is that, People are used and things are loved…

Children are not stupid. If the child is thanked for the sentiment and then told that the way she expressed it was wrong, more often than not the child will learn. I think this type of childlike innocence is genuinely refreshing and a pleasure to be around even if it imposes a slight and ultimately harmless convenience like a damaged car.

Hmmmph! The girl was sent by her mum – who must be her dad’s ex-wife.

There are saner ways of expressing your love towards your dad. But what can the man do anyways?

God knows I’d proudly drive it around for at least two weeks before having it repainted. My nephew once used a compass in his sister’s ‘Math Set’ to write his name or whatever he thought he scribbled on some of my original DVDs (the part that’s supposed to be played). The pride on his face when he came to show me couldn’t even allow me box him. I just mailed the pictures to his father who gladly sent me the DVDs some weeks after.

hehehe, chei children ooo, see the proud smile on her face lol, I will prob just cry and hug the child then get angry later lol.

This reminds me of the time I broke my Dads 15 year achievement award from work. I almost killed myself that day, I cried my eyes out wondering what my dad will do to me when he comes back from work, I was so miserable awaiting my fate, my wicked brothers were now adding fire telling me how I was finished. When he came back, with so much tears in my eyes, I was shaking and told him I had broken his precious award. My popsi just hugged me wiped away my tears and said ahn ahnn is that why you are crying like sumbodi died. and then he took me to ikoyi club to go and chill out lolol.

So you people can’t see that the picture was stage managed? How can that little girl write what you see without other scratches? The dad or mum did it and then told her to pose with the screwdriver.
Anything to get a viral pic. *sigh*

It was staged to within an inch of its life.

Note even how big the screwdriver is. I’m grown and I cant wield that without some awkwardness and some unintended scratches.

My thought exactly. Probably even chalk, as the writing is a bit too clean to have been done with a flat head screwdriver.

Oga, this is nit Nigeria with its many quack schools. A girl that age who is well schooled can write quite legibly

A child could NOT scrawl words like that, it is far too neat. There would be slips of the screwdriver, as it is NOT easy to do this, even for an adult. Obviously done by the parents, so they can get their little bit of fame.

Good to see other have seen past the silly parents, claiming their child did it.

b—h is way too old to not know this s–t is bad. if this was real i’d be more disappointed in her stupidity than the paint job on my car.
