Omotola looked regal and elegant. Beautiful woman. That shape.

I beg to differ… that Omo sexy dress did not work at all.

None worked for me apart from Nse (she always carry class) the dress worked in comparison to the rest.
      Juliet tried…
      The rest I dont know…
      Desmond looked supercool…

Those were the two that caught my eyes. x

so sorry I forgot LYDIA FORSON… Gorgeous on her.. worked for her shape, look and skin.

      The rest..TACKY sorry. x

Beautiful people everywhere. Star studded event nice. First time in along time I see red carpet and not mostly irritated.
Omotola I love you. You are just a diva. You know when to look hot and when to look divine. I love this look for the Amaas . Love the clean makeup and still fierce shapely look but legendary role look. Allowing your colleagues who are younger and have nominations to shine. I totally love Desmond Elliot’s look too. How do you merge traditional with an edgy look? Outstanding. These two, The legendary Omotola and the Uber Hot Desmond Elliot were my Two best dressed . “Not trying too hard but edgy and clean”

Omotola made me actually cringe. You should know u wont get away with that fabric. It never looks good on a bodacious woman who has alot of curves. This kinda fabric will accentuate curves, flaws and all. If you got excess you cant reel in or control , flee from that kind of fabric

  5. Ano

    September 28, 2015 at 11:42 am

Regal and elegant in that? with all her shapewear showing through that fabric…. She has good style but today’s own is questionable pl.s.. leave the parakpo for side.

    September 28, 2015 at 12:19 pm

Seems Omotola left her style, spanx and make-up bag at home. I am usually her fan fashion wise but for her, this isn’t cutting it. Spanx and abit more make-up might have saved the day. The dress isn’t bad but d fit is off. Then to d men, a lot of them look hideous especially the actor in white and red that looks like he’s coming back form service at olumba and olumba and decided to do a stop over.

    • Jelly_Jes

      September 28, 2015 at 12:59 pm

hahaha nor use laff kill me ! the olumba man is a seasoned artist both on screen and stage ! Paul Obazee…. only wonder why he didnt pay attention to his attire 🙁

Lala Akindoju and OC Ukeje…una doh o…
That lady in blue leaning into Desmond Eliott is pretty
The twins who are popular for posting pix online…your resemblance is uncanny…

JULIET IBRAHIM SLAYED! ..now that’s how to work a red carpet…

    • Bianca Bounce

      September 28, 2015 at 2:46 pm

lol I notices too that Adesua Etomi has a strange ‘witchy’ nose that somehow suits her face.
Her make up seems a little light but her dress is nice. all around a decent look.
most of the women look nice and classy which makes a change

  15. Blondie

    September 28, 2015 at 1:35 pm

Lydia looking massive, Eniola has joined the nose ring gang..childish! Queen’s dress is lovely as well as Juliet’s.. the men look great

Horrible red carpet looks for what should be Africa’s premier movie awards show. Very disappointed with the exception of maybe 1 or 2 fashion statements.

    • S!

      September 29, 2015 at 1:05 am

They couldn’t even afford a branded back drop. Disappointed. They should have simply hosted it in Nigeria if doing abroad would cost too much.

  23. Susan

    September 28, 2015 at 2:49 pm

Iyabo looks decent but the tattoes make her look
    TACKY
    CLASSLESS
    RAZZ
    UNCOUTH

I dont respect ANYONE WITH TATTOES., NOT EVEN A TINY ONE.
Would you scratch a Monet or a Bently?

Bella list who won what, id like to know – if yet again they are awarding 3 yrs old movies and all that bullhshyt they do. If you dont have enouch categories or movies to nominate in any given year just cancel the damn show. And Also is this really Africa Movie Awards or is it Nigerian Movies award. Hardly do i see movies from Kenya, Francophones or South africa, yet we all they they are a million times better than nollywood when it comes to talent . They have QUALITY, not quantity like Nollywood.

Worst Red carpet I have seen in a long while
Even Omotola follow fall hand…abi she did not see that her spanx ani tights were so obvious
Some were dressed like they are chief priests (eg Paul), other were looking like Mgbeke (Chioma, umbrella dress lady, the twins and lots more)
And to those showing their “abs”….I laugh in French
I just could not wait for the pictures to end
    Phew

It is amazing how the zero talented one (Juliet Ibrahim) was best dressed.
If she could put more effort in slaying in her acting as she slayed in getting dress for this event,

It is just as if most of these people were not notified, oya wake up and attend the event kinda dressing. All I could see were flaws very few people pulled it off. Can someone pls tell Eniola Badmus to focus on losing more weight instead of joining I must logba lagidi people, what in God’s name is the ring doing there, try look out for rodeo shows then you will understand. This red carpet made no wow effect, Chioma no offence am disappointed, what are u wearing, what hairstyle is that? infact before I have a migraine about you people, I better waka pass fast.

From my own point of view our men intends to wear our Africa attires more than our women. We needs to invest more with our laces and Ankara and forget about this so called English wear. I want to see more of our women wearing our own materials and designed just like English.
