Boko Haram Terrorists Reportedly Celebrate Sallah – PHOTOS

Sallah3 Sallah4 Sallah5 Sallah6

According to Sahara Reporters, some members of Boko Haram last week gathered at an open field at an undisclosed location and celebrated Sallah.

The terrorists are said to have released a video of the celebration, and SR obtained screenshots from the video, which are shown above.

According to the report:

SaharaReporters could not confirm the date the video was shot, as only screenshots of the video were made available to us by a citizen reporter. In the video, sect members can be seen calmly saying Eid prayers in the company of their families, with a rifle standing upside down.

The video images may be part of the sect’s efforts to counter statements by the Nigerian army that the Islamist insurgent fighters were on a steady retreat, with Nigerian troops seizing a sizeable territory hitherto occupied and controlled by members of the terrorist sect.

The more I think about it, the more I’m inclined to believe that the “government” is in on this Boko Haram insurgency. These are my reasons:

    1. How is it that Abubakar Shekau is able to release videos and post them online, issue press statements and generally give the group publicity, without the FG being able to track him? In this 21st Century, it’s practically impossible to post anything online without it being traceable. How many ISPs do we have in Nigeria that it has proven so impossible for the government to isolate whoever is providing internet coverage to this group? Maybe I’ve watched too many episodes of NCIS, but I honestly believe it should be possible to track the specific location from where these videos are being uploaded and from there, track the group.

    2. I agree that Nigeria is a large country and there are vast areas of dense forests in the north. That said, how has it proved impossible for our combined Army and Air Force to locate the group? If we haven’t been able to locate them on land, how about from the Air? Why did we spend so much money on NIGCOMSAT and we can’t get satelite images of our country to show where these people are? Looking at these pictures , I see hundreds of people, these numbers of people would generate some form of heat that should be distinguishable from the regular flora and fauna of that location. Using the right equipment, I’m sure that we can locate where these people are and launch an all-out, once and for-all assault to put an end to this menace.

    3. Where does Boko Haram get its weapons, vehicles, food etc from? At least no one has insulted our collective intelligence as Nigerians by saying that the weapons are dropped from the sky. This tells me that these weapons are moved by land to wherever this group is. Assuming for purposes of arguments that our borders are so porous that this weapons can move freely into the country, how about movement within the country? BH has attacked in places as far flung as Abuja, Kano, Kaduna, Yobe, Adamawa, Maiduguri etc. This is practically the whole spread of the North-East to North-West part of Nigeria. How did the weapons move so freely across Nigeria from both our land and sea borders without our Customs, Police, SSS etc being aware?

    4. Speaking of SSS, how has it proved so impossible for the SSS to infiltrate this group? The DSS is supposed to comprise of trained and capable personnel who should be able to infiltrate enemy groups and find out their modus operandi, leaders and weak points etc. The SSS can’t infiltrate BH and obtain the information the Armed Forces need to protect Nigeria against internal insurrection?

The sheer numbers of people that BH has killed should have us all worried as Nigerians. Today, it is the North that is under siege, tommorrow, it could be anywhere else. If our government cannot rise up to the task of defending and protecting its citizens at this time, rest assured that the next time another group threatens our national intetgrity, we will all sit and wring our hands in helplessness as vast populations are decimated, children rendered orphans, women become widows and another generation of people grow up who do not believe in the entity called Nigeria for she failed to protect them when they needed her the most.

P.S. When I say government, I mean the continuum that is the FG and not necessarily Yar’adua/Jonathan/Buhari.

I have my own way to put an end to this so call boko haram, if i am giving the chance. The Country “Nigeria ” needs only three things to stop these group; i.e 1. The EAGLE EYE 2. The EAGLE SPEED And 3. The EAGLE STRENGHT. “I can explain these!
