I like Fayose. He is crazy no doubt but dude has guts.

I understand this kind gesture. The man was not a beggar. But, l do not appreciate this type of one off dash. I’ll rather there are proper structures in place to support the disabled. For this one off, there are a thousand begging to be supported.

It’s just sad and pathetic when I see nigerian leaders taking their position for granted and abusing it. When you are elected, the goal is to serve your people. And it seems like Nigerians are ok with such negative behavior. It’s mind boggling. This so called governor is going around town flaunting his power while majority of his people are waiting to get paid and to do his expected job.

I’m confused on the “okada” part for the “Crippled” man… Did Fayose forget to provide the guy with a Driver or has the Okada been customized to meet the Cobbler’s needs?? Please someone help me understand this

Instead of just randomly picking one needy person to donate this stuff to and then announcing it on social media, why can’t Fayose come up with a welfare incentive, training center, rehabilitation center or the likes for widows, orphans, people who can no longer work due to life’s misfortunes? At least there will be money set aside for employment counselling, small business incentives and start up money grants for such people who can then be trained and assisted in the vocation or business they want to do. Doing this will reach out to more people and these people can even repay the loans they were given after things get better with them. This is a more effective way to help the downtrodden instead of just picking out one person and giving him half a million naira that people around him will collect their share ( Fayose has just announced him to all his relatives and the thieves around him that he is 500,000 naira richer!)

Does this man understand his role as a Governor, one minute he is in the market buying ponmo, pepper and vegetable, the next he is at the Secretariat chasing late comers, the next one he is on the road checking driver’s licence,he is distributing rice, he is giving a cripple an Okada, he also knows where Buhari’s and APC’s stolen wealth. I hope all is well

When we start making proper provisions for the handicapped members of our society…half baked gestures such as this are not worthy of mention. Does the disabled fellow ride motorcycles? Or would he have done better in a wheel chair equipped van that can provide him with transportation to and from work?

Seriously, this moron needs to go to jail for spending the Ekiti State Government’s money like this. Where are the other idiots ( The Ekiti State Legislatures ) when this prodigal son. ( governor ) is wasting their money? Has Ekiti State government no budget in place? . It’s time to plug all this loopholes where any idiots, Nonentities ( Governors of any state in Nigeria ). Will wake up any day, decide to spend people’s money as if they are spending their own money. After all, this man is not the only cripple in Ekiti State. As the governor of the State he should
have used what happened to this particular man as a lesson for everyone In the State, the importance of having an insurance policy. Instead of sticking his dirty hands into the purse of the state government. The more you know. A word is enough for the wise. I am just saying.

As an Ekiti State indigene…… Fayoseeeeeeeeeee we are not impress with
‘overgenerous’ acts of yours at all. If i may ask is this the only crippled man in Ekiti State? Can’t you use the money to provide facilities that would benefit disable people in the State? We won’t be surprised if the next ‘kind gesture’ of yours would be to give a ‘tout’ 1 million Naira.

We are yet to see detailed plans you have for Ekiti State fayose…..

Ekiti people you see where 2 Dericas of Rice led you? Next time you would think with your HEAD and not your stomach!

As an indigene of the state…. Fayoseeeeee we are tired of your reckless and overgenerous spending…. For crying out loud, this man is not the only crippled man in Ekiti State. What will the crippled man do with an Okada?
This 500k should have been used for a facility that would benefit other disable people. You prefer to dip your hand into State fund and spend at ease.
We won’t be surprised if the next action of yours is to give ‘tout’ 1 million Naira…
We are yet to see your plans for Ekiti… because acts of buying ponmo or corn in the market, eating Amala in a restuarant, concreting a slab are far from it.

Ekiti people…. you can see where 2 Dericas of rice led you too…. Please next time, think with your Head and not your Stomach!
