Its your right to feel irritated with whatever irritates you but be honest…is anyone forcing all these covers down your throat? Is anyone stopping you from enjoying the original? The answer is a big fat NO. So, Hello? Can you hear me? Please stop ranting about nothing.

She has a good voice what is did was oversing it and lost the emotions. Simple is better sometimes which is what the owner Adele has mastered. If you’re going to do it different, then don’t loose the heart which joe got. Bye not my fav.

This is the best Nigerian version I have heard so far. Two thumbs up Ruby. It’s always the Nigerians that don’t know anything that have time to give their jealous opinions. Dnt mind them.

Please now, let everybody go back to making their own music and stop ‘killing’ Adele’s Hello!

  26. fleur

    November 17, 2015 at 1:45 pm

She tried but did not get the emotions right. screaming was too much. Also, why are our artists falling over each other to copy adele’s song? Are we that jobless or bereft of inspiration or is this a way to cash in on the returns on a very popular song. If yes to the latter, at what point is it formalized piracy? Is just very awkward. Usually a cover appears years after the main song.

So Adele sat down, took her time and wrote a nice song, did an excellent job singing it ,now our Naija artists are doing cover after cover.

Will it kill them to sit down and write something worth listening to.If you cannot write you can equally get people to write for you.How can an artist release an album empty of meaningful lyrics.Creativity is dead. Most of them stoop to miming their songs while performing and tomorrow they want me to pay my hard earned money to come and watch them mime.

You admire beyonce but will not find time to practice performing on heels for years. There is nothing sexy about removing your heels on stage to dance. You must improve your art, train your voice as auto tunes will never get you 1 million views on Youtube(the person i’m talking to knows herself).

May hello by Adele inspire you guys to write good songs. Enough of the cover already.

      November 20, 2015 at 11:11 pm

My sentiments exactly. Especially the Beyonce part and the miming thingy too. You expect people to come see u mime. If u go mime at least show excellent craft… Dem no gree for that one. But the fault is partly ours too, when we reward mediocrity with praise and patronage

The best cover so far… to those that claimed she’s shouting and it’s noisy, get better speakers or sound system. This was excellent delivery from Ruby. Awesome vocals. Now, quietly anticipating Vic O and Patience Jonathan’s version.

Wow ruby gives me goosebumps she gets better as she keeps on. I know she could have even brought out more of Her voice like in her (Ruby’s )ballads. Like Ok, Good man woman be saaanging on her own songs.
