I’m happy it was established in his own state. A way to give back to his community. Not everything Lagos or Abuja.

So will it be 2000 children each year or just the first 2000 from now? If it is each year I am assuming they have a plan to sustain it so we don’t hear from disappointed parents in the future. I also assume they plan to maintain the buildings and facilities. The intent is good but I’ve seen way too many well-intentioned projects in Nigeria start and fail because they haven’t been thought through properly. We’ve also seen ‘state-of-the-art’ facilities fall to pieces in less than a decade because of poor maintenance culture. Let’s throw sentiment aside and ask pertinent questions.

God bless his kind heart? Forgive my ignorance but isnt it tax payers money plus state allocated funds that he is using to DO HIS JOB. prehaps in Nigeria tax payers money becomes private property of governors , ministers once they are elected into office. Well that will explain why people deem it fit to bless he’s kind heart. I wish I was a politician in Nigeria. To be treated like a KING, Demi god . Anyway till I see the same nigerian politicians using this white elephant I mean stste of the art wasit .

The hospital is by a private company – Obijackson Group of Companies. The Governor was a special guest and “launched’ the hospital. Perhaps our headline needs to be adjusted. Thank you.

Just my two cents….I think the poster thought it was built by the governor because the line “The hospital was commissioned by Willie Obiano, Governor of Anambra State “. It implies that it was the gov who initiated the hospital.
