Itan | Stage Play
ÌTÀN is a rich blend of cultural and contemporary drama, music and dance. The play captures the modern day relational tension that crops up between the different age -generations as Àsìkò (‘Time’ personified) intervenes by taking ‘old school’ – die-hard -village-elder, Pa Latinwo and his newly discovered city, roller-coaster grandson, Diekola, on a journey into the past and future in order to mend fences. This exciting production is proudly showcased by THESPIAN Family Theatre & Productions. The play written by Ayo Jaiyesimi, is directed by Ben Tomoloju. The play features some of Nigeria’s stage favourites including Naija FM’s ‘Lolo 1’, Omotunde David.
