The Political Leadership Among Youths (P.L.A.Y.) Forum is a body consisting of influential and elite youth in the Nigerian society set up to promote and inculcate youth to engage in matters of the nation.
The PLAY Forum has a non-partisan agenda to hold a ‘town-hall meeting’ – style forum set up as an upscale black-tie event on the 20th of February, 2016, at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton, where youths are given a platform to discuss how they would run the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria if opportuned; policies they would put in place or expunge while analyzing the current issues plaguing the average Nigerian.
The PLAY Forum, in achieving its objectives, aims to:
1.Give young intellects a platform to reach out to the current government as well as other influential and elite youth with strong social media presence, including those in the Diaspora.
2. Encourage an interactive ‘town-hall meeting’ setting conducive for the free flow of dialogue between youth and stakeholders in the government.
3. Appraise and analyze existing policies on a neutral common platform with key stakeholders in different sectors of the economy. A few of such individuals include –
The Honorable Minister of Agriculture, The Honorable Minister of Power, Works and Housing, The Governor of Ondo state – His Excellency Governor Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, etc.
