2Baba, Kunle Afolayan, Kaffy & More to Headline the African Basketball League All-Star Weekend from March 25 – 28 | See Photos from the Last Event

The African Basketball League All-Star Weekend is packed full with more actions, celebration of the game of basketball and a break from the grind and intensity of the regular season.

The All Star Weekend will tip off at 5pm on Good Friday with two French teams, Libreville Izobe VS Abidjan Ramblers at the Landmark event Centre; this will be followed by the Lagos Islanders taking on the Lagos Warriors at 7pm.

2Baba will lead the celebrity team which comprises of Sound Sultan, Tee Billz, Ikechukwu , M.I Abaga, Kaffy, Kunle Afolayan, Ghost, DJ Consequence, Jimmy, N6, Chairman HKN, CDQ, Mo Easy, Karma and many more to a celebrity game and a dunk contest on Saturday March 26th 2016 at Landmark Event Centre by 7pm.

The ABL Junior Camp will start the day with a game, this will be followed by the much anticipated game of the weekend, the ‘’ABL All Star Game’’ the American Stars VS the African Stars on Monday 28th March at Landmark Event Centre by 5pm.

It’s a must watch.

    Can you be freaking original in anything for once in your.
    This wouldnt be so obvious even if you did soccer/football.
    I mean basketball is not even a huge sport here in Nigeria

    Y are u so pained..lol. It’s a brilliant concept and helps to cast more light and the much needed attention on African basketball. I see nothing wrong in recreating the All star weekend and giving it our own touch. Kini big deal. It’s entertainment..take a chill pill.

    You guys keep shouting about originality as if there is anything new under the sun. As if all invented things are bad and there’s a need to reinvent the wheel.
    Nigerian basketball is played in 2 leagues- the DSTV league and African Basketball League and the regulator is the Nigerian basketballl Federation. If you dont know, ask somebody or do some research before criticizing.
    Isnt it practice that makes perfect? Nobody is yelling about Beckham’s attempt to make football popular in the States.
