The Officer in Charge of Police Complaints Response Unit (CRU) Abayomi Shogunle on Tuesday tweeted an infographic of the rate of decline of complaints from members of the public regarding policing activities nationwide between November 2015 and March 2016.

The infographic, which Shogunle tagged .”Decline in complaints of police misconduct because officers are beginning to be professional in carrying out duties”, showed that complaints dropped from over 450 early in December 2015 to less than 100 by December 20th of the same year.

It also revealed that between January and March 2016, the complaints received was slightly above 100 in only two weeks, with the other weeks having less than 100 complaints.
