President-Muhammadu-Buhari-BNPresident Muhammadu Buhari has suspended his scheduled working visit to Lagos billed for Monday and Tuesday.

The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo will now represent him, and would commission a number of projects in the state as part of the visit.

This was contained in a two-paragraph statement signed by  Osinbajo’s Senior Special Assistant, Media & Publicity, ‘Laolu Akande.

According to PREMIUM TIMES, Buhari’s media aide, Garba Shehu said that the president will now visit Lagos after the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. Shehu said:

The president is faced with scheduling difficulties and that is the reason for the postponement.

He needs more time for Lagos and for Edo which had earlier been stepped down. As a result of this, the visit has been scaled down and he is being represented by H.E. the VP, who is going to Lagos to commission a few projects, leaving the rest for Mr. President.

The president will undertake these visits after the Ramadan.

shehu garba knows how to spell out President but not Vice President. The respect for Oshibajo at the villa are in these little details. Something is going on…
My respect for Buhari diminishes by the day- they still don’t have their shit together. I don’t see a unified front or agenda. Still waiting and hoping…

So Osibanjo can go to Lagos abi? Old, frail Buhari can tour the world but our v.p can’t. Not even one. He’s been the one touring everywhere outside Nigeria without sending our v.p but Lagos and other states within Nigeria he will send v.p. Was this what they agreed to? PMB will do international while v.p will do local? Can’t Osibanjo resign sef? I’m annoyed on his behalf because he’s just like a figure head. I dislike when people use others like this, especially when he’s so learned. This PMB is just an annoying pos. He should have come with Aisha nau, let her come and fry akara again. Users. I’m so annoyed.

Comments like this is the reason why not everybody should be allowed to vote. How will you, CAN you, compare the President coming to Lagos to cut ribbon and cause traffic, to him flying to foreign countries to fix the diplomatic ties that YOU NIGERIANS have burnt and broken??! If he came to Lagos will it fix our credit rating with the IMF? If he came to Lagos will we investors be like ‘OMG! He finally went to Lagos after 15yrs. Yes! Let me now send my money’. WHEN we will stop being SO NARROW-MINDED? SMH!

Which yeye head are you shaking? Forget Lagos..did he visit Agatu? What good has any of his Ajala travels done for Nigeria? This has been and will continue to be a scam government . Packaging, lies and deceit might be sufficient to win elections-especially where many are gullible but when it comes to the real thing-you wont be able to fool even the most foolish for too long. Reason more people are seeing through this scam change on a daily basis.

If a President went around trying to pls ppl like you, we will end up with a man who stands around, hand on chin ‘looking concerned’ (does that sound familiar?) because ppl like you are impressed by that ceremony and making you feel special. Do something concrete with your life other than trolling blogs and pretending to have a perspective, READ.. In a few weeks, Nigeria’s ties with China are about to be stronger than they’ve ever been, Visas are being granted because our president is actually fixing our reputation, People CARE about Nigeria now, because he has been travelling AROUND the globe to restore the foreign faith in us….and you’re here…crying because he didn’t come to Lagos to see you. SMH!!! You’re a 3rd world nation deceiving yourself that you have 1st world problems
