This June promises to be really exciting for DStv Compact subscribers with the HISTORY channel opening up for a month on Compact and also the premiere of the star-studded historical drama, Roots on DStv.

The highly anticipated television series Roots will make its debut on HISTORY® (DStv channel 186) on Wednesday, June 15 at 7:30pm. HISTORY will broadcast new and exclusive shows, along with top-rated return titles that Compact subscribers will not have had access to previously for a four week open-window. Roots will also be repeated on Lifetime (DStv channel 131) on Sundays at 8pm (from June 19) following its debut on HISTORY.
