Anytime i hear of all these Miss this Miss that, i cant help but feel that a new kid (aware or unaware) has been thrust into the spotlight for the gawking, randy Nigerian celebs and money bags to feast on. There seem to be a need to always replenish these pool of young women with these unnecessary pageant for the picking pleasure of those at the so called top of the food chain. Aside from a few that have been able to use their Miss whatevership to affect their space positively and go on to become worthy role models, most of them seem to use the opportunity to position themselves for the highest bidder, court interest and attention and to magnetize the seemingly privileged. Until i am educated otherwise, this is how i see all these pageant.

Not every light skinned person is bleaching hon. Many Nigerians especially those from the South east and the south south are naturally fair -skinned. It does not make them less African and it is not going away… get used to it 😉
